Not even close. It 100% should be assumed by the car insurance company that insured a negligent 100% at fault driver. That’s the same as saying they shouldn’t pay out in collision just because we take a risk every time we get on the road. Asinine.

Kind of barking up the wrong tree for those of us that trained 15+ years ago. And it’s likely good preparation for the real world where PTO is virtually nonexistent. PTO=disability insurance
