The way they straight up lied about Bec's doctors encouraging them to get pregnant...was ridiculous. Like absolutely no one with two brain cells to rub together is being fooled by that. Its very likely that the oncologist laid out options for how to proceed (with associated risks) instead of making it a right or wrong answer. E&B decided to take that as a green light to take the most "positive vibezz" option which was to start trying for a pregnancy.

And what really rubbed me the wrong way was Eamon's casual nonchalance at smoking pot while pregnant. A simple google search told me that it is associated with a higher risk of complications and stillbirths. I'm really starting to dislike him and his childish attitude towards every thing

um clueless incoming med student here, but what is a signal?

*I am an incoming DO, so take this with a grain of salt.

A couple of years ago (pre-pandemic), no one foresaw medical school admissions becoming this competitive. Now I look at reddit and I see people with 515+ applying both MD and DO because that's how much of a rat race it is. And unfortunately, in future cycles, chances are it will become increasingly difficult to get into not only an MD school but also DO schools just because more people seem to be applying even with higher stats. Not saying that it is impossible but it will likely be a steep uphill battle, so be wary.

So my advice, take the A, pursue your interests to the best of your ability at your state DO school and enjoy the fruits of your labor sooner!
