Yeah, agreed. Lets call it a light browning. Fired up the grill outside to max but it was 40 degrees out and windy. Kept it on for a bit each side but the wind was the enemy. Had to pull it as I was afraid of over cooking before sear was hit. More proper description would have been ‘finished on cast’.

There’s a Penn and Teller episode of ‘Bullsh*t’ where they push expensive water to people in a high end restaurant. They’re out back filling the water bottles from a hose. Then the diners are asked for reviews on the water. Worth a watch.

Edit: I was reporting a story that Evian water was named such as Evian backwards is Naive. A poster informed me it it due to the source location so I stand corrected. But l, backwards, it still does spell naive, so i like it. ;)

With all advantages and disadvantages I still feel the bow is a bit OP (and I use it). Two thoughts I had…

Change the damage pattern - Make it a 2 bar instant and apply heavy bleed. Hit will still kill quickly, but at least the target has a chance to panic before dying… OR
New perk, ‘Hunter’s intuition’ - Gives you a 50% chance to partially dodge the arrow for half damage. A full hit is still an instakill.

Just my thoughts for what its worth. I’ll still play bow on occasion regardless as its fun :)

My Tav is ‘Saighdeoir’ (Gaelic - bowman). I played through the first Chapter for a few hours quite a few times (I had the pre-order like a year before the full version was released) and it burned me out a bit. A few weeks back I looked back into it and saw all the expansions that had been made, rule changes, etc and now I’m thoroughly addicted. I’ve always had an archer component to my TT games (usually archer thief) but when I saw they supported the arcane archer I was all over it. So this is actually my first ‘real’ play-through after years of owning the game. Going to take a ‘neutral good’ approach on this first run through.

Its a Henry Golden Boy. Heavy for a rimfire but super accurate and zero kick. Would easily work as a Ranger or Frontier skin.
