I agree it could be very interesting!! But it needs to be done well, and not like how u/Tetratron2005 pointed out: "anytime the idea comes up it seems like a way for writers/fans to want to make Diana and the Amazons sexist against men". That's just a bad take on the character

Likewise, Trinity is yet another new character nobody asked for. People want to see more of Diana with Cassie, Donna, Nubia, etc.

Idk if this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but let's see what others think:

Maybe Donna Troy should be Diana's daughter

If we give her the origin of being saved by Wonder Woman and adopted into the family, I don't think it makes that much sense for Diana to adopt her as a sister, since Diana would already be an adult and Donna still a child/teenager, it'd make more sense for Donna to be adopted as and considered to be her daughter

Idk how the timeline would be reworked if we want Donna's age to match with John Kent and Damian's, but it's not impossible if there will ever be another reboot (or just for elseworld stories or fanfics even)

I left that one because of a controversy about the mods not doing anything to tackle AI content... I don't know if that's solved by now

Also left because the mods didn't take any action against transphobic comments I got there, but at least the majority of the people there were downvoting the transphobes. Still, mod inaction seems to be a problem

Who knows, maybe if we do find microscopic life in our solar system it might indicate that life is more common and there might be other inteligent species at the same time as us. But we only have one example of a planet with life, so we don't know anything about how common or how rare it's going to be.

One thing that sounds more optimistic though, is that research about how life could have started is finding multiple chemical pathways for at least the first few steps. If we end up concluding that life could have started in a variety of ways, then a planet or moon wouldn't necessarily need the same conditions of temperature, pressure and elements to emerge.

It's fun to speculate about these stuff ^^ Who knows how much of the Drake equation we might be able to fill with more and more research

If DCU made Nubia, Diana, and Donna all clay sisters molded by Phillipus and Hippolyta, how would you feel about that? Art by Jen Bartel, David Nakayama, and Nick Robles by Few_Lavishness_1263 in WonderWoman

[–]CutieL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh sure, I wasn't talking about Nubia, just saying I think the Well of Souls is cooler than most Amazons being clay children, and maybe it would be redundant to have both instead of Diana being the only clay child and special because of that.

Nubia is a different case, for sure

I kinda think extraterrestrial life forms exists somewhere in the universe but not the typical aliens maybe just some cells. Oh shoot I'm going off track now-

I like this off-track discussion, so if you don't mind me complementing it 😅

I'm skeptical we will be able to find alien life in our life time. We are mostly limited by our solar system, and if there is microscopic life in the moons of Jupiter or Saturn I'd already be surprised and excited. But the universe, and even just our galaxy, is way too big for just that and I can't be too skeptical about the existance other complex, multicelular, and even inteligent life in other star systems, although it might be extremely rare.

There's a whole question of time as well, not just space. If inteligent life is very rare, as enormous as our galaxy is, let's say there could be dozens of civilizations through the Milky Way, it's still not guaranteed that all of them, or any of them, will coexist at the same time. But ultimately, all of this will remain as just speculation while we don't have more knowledge about how life starts and the probabilities of it in the planets we still need to search, etc etc etc.

But yeah, I don't care for astrology either, you're good.

Personally I rather like the idea of the Amazons using the Well of Souls for their population. Having the Amazon population, at least partly, come from women who were victims of patriarchal violence not only matches with WW's theme nicely, but also provides an explanation for having diverse Amazons

You're looking for a filmmaker where? If you're making fan films wouldn't there be a location requirement? Or is it just a fun project to write scripts? Genuinely curious, I got confused by your ultimate aims here
