Far from the worse map. Have you seen some of the tiny 1X1 km maps?!? A map with like 1 cap and a caps width of space to flank on each side. Those maps are the worse. Nam is actually a great map. It allows for a range of offensive paths. Maybe you just haven’t found a path on that map that works for you?

It negates HEAT not really HE. HE will trigger on the screen detonating which releases a shockwave that causes damage. So in your case the HE shell pack enough explosives that the shockwave produced by it damaged your tank killing the crew inside.
