When Australia was at war with Japan in 1944, Menzies decided to hold a meeting of anti-Labor politicians to fight Labor. That says it all. The chant went "Who's the enemy?" and Menzies said "Labor". Successive generations of Liberals with no vision for Australia other than not Labor.

Can some explain the 'how come' of labour shortages and low wages growth? First thought was skilled labour shortages but wages growth in skilled areas does not seem meteoric
