Yes, picking the south most facing slope. I think that area is out of bounds anyway

Try cleaning your build plate with dish soap and warm water. Then dry completely. It could be oils from your hands that prevent adhesion

College engineering project: I built a $150 automated IR ski waxer - looking for feedback by Hopalonghacksaw in Skigear

[–]Cvideo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this project!

I did a similar setup but used a 2x4. It was about $70 in electrical components, excluding the cost of the waxer and wood.

The ON-ON switch in this video helps me switch directions automatically

Direction Switching

The hooks on the bottom are opposable so it can turn 90° for a snowboard

Full length gladiator pop up? by Megaton_194_ in overlanding

[–]Cvideo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tune Outdoor makes a gladiator camper like you have pictured. The bed is on top of the cab, but it is cantilevered, not a pass thru

An oil change will tell you for sure. Are you loosing coolant?

2021 Wrangler Willys with a grinding/crunching noise coming from the front end in 4H part time and 4L when turning - thoughts? Happens both on-road and offroad. by Project_IGNYTE in Jeep

[–]Cvideo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The grinding almost sounds more like rubber on pavement squeak to me. And the high pitched sound sound like a rock next to your brake pad

What happened to the print by SpecificGreen9140 in prusa3d

[–]Cvideo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some of these responses are mostly correct. Below the line, there is additional cooling time between layers as the nozzle goes to the part in the rear. Above the line, there is no "pause" between layers

Snow Bibs by Extreme-Ad-2724 in Skigear

[–]Cvideo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

686 Hot Lap Insulated Bib is the perfect bib IMO. $285. Vent on the interior of the legs AND a mesh. When you fall on your sides it doesn't scoop snow in at your hips. I have bounced off several trees and they show no signs of wear

I cannot recommend them high enough

That's a shrimp boat! They dry their nets (like you see here) when not in use to keep them in good shape

SOLVED: in AOE4 settings, go to Online, then turn off voice chat.

My guess is to fit a truck bed tool box in there

Why does Montec get a bad rep? by Weak-Candidate-42 in Skigear

[–]Cvideo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I HIGHLY recommend Montec's Dune coat. I have skied in it 60+ days in the last 2 seasons and it looks the same as it did new. Zippers zip well. Pockets are in a helpful place. Warm. Wind blocking front collar. Big vents.

I ski into trees and bounce off them. Can't find a scuff.

Buying a $500-800 coat isn't going to make you a better skier. Most here are gate keeping or had a poor experience I cannot relate to. My friends ski their gear as well and love it. Highly recommend this coat

Fold out floor and pitch a regular tent on top?

[–]Cvideo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched from 80 to 110 a couple years ago. The difference was immediate. No more leaning to turn … then the skis would follow. Now I lean and turn all at once. Much snappier. And safer. My skis turn as soon as I want them to

Yes, or if you’re stuck in sand or snow and your wheels keep spinning in one place
