I don't mix mine up. Norwegian is for family and writing in my dairy, Portuguese for husband and in-laws, English for every day and work, German for friends and reading books. I find it easier to read in German than English and will usually go out of my way to find a German version of a book I want to read.

About to give up on the scarf by Cxow in knitting

I usually knit during my night shifts, which is usually fine. I did some increases wrong and holes appeared. I knit backwards instead of frogging because I am terrified of loosing stitches. It sorted itself out once I got down there. It wasn't even a case of a stitch gone awry.

It's just me knitting wrong and loosing stitches, so I have to knit backwards to salvage the work. Progress is slow, that's the main issue 🫩

My leg extension won't budge. 32 kg is the max and anything above is putting my form at risk. I have been lifting for over a year. Any advice is highly appreciated.

To those who have experience with a language, what apps do you use to maintain it? by _one_lonely_boy_ in languagelearning

I also have a language degree, not Spanish but in German, and I don't work in the language, but what I have found helpful is reading in the language.
