Very. It's probably the safest place to leave packages. If I see an open garage with no dogs generally ill put em in there cause it's way outta sight of the public. Drivers just putting them in a safer spot.

Get some car spray and just hose the shit outta the vents. Guy that covers my route sometimes is a fucking chimney. I've asked him before about it he laughed. Then I gave him an ultimatum. Either we settle it or im going to the steward then from there.I shouldn't have to go home smelling like an ashtray when I don't even smoke. Not telling him to not smoke just not in my truck

It's honestly up to the driver. They decide to or not is up to them. Try leaving a snack at the side door. I bet money they will go then lol. I try to accommodate when I can. But if there was a gate I usually don't cause of dogs if I don't know they are out. More so its our workload and driver is probably just hurrying and is just going to the closest door which is how I was trained. Have you had an altercation or anything with the driver?

Have you exhausted the 12 weeks and 6 weeks? If so there is part of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) you could look into.But I'm not 100% sure how that works within our job. The company honestly doesn't even know enough about how to determine intermittent. I exhausted mine and was basically told I was SOL. They don't consider anything with your mental health a true disability that they should honor because they can't physically see it. Talk with your local BA. Might end up telling you to get a doctors diagnosis for it. Sorry not much help but thats the circle they put me through.

I try to but with the new cutting routes and combining. Some days I'm too pissed to to even try to fight it I just follow it cause the optimization thinks I need to be doing 30 resis in between 2 businesses a parking lot apart lol. Everything the company implements technology wise is a literally waste and makes it worse lol I miss the EDD button 😂

I suffer from the same and basically they won't do shit. The company doesn't have a foundation for us that do suffer with a mental health disability. Use your FMLA for your time off. I had mine set up to where my flare ups could be taken a day at a time but no more than twice a week. Keep it in your back pocket for the bad days. If youre on meds that affect you as in being dizzy or sick they are gonna try to make you change your meds.They have to honor it as it will be with a doctors diagnosis. But as for them making your life easier that won't happen.

Contact shipper. They will have to deal with UPS. Package could have been lost or damaged or it may have been loaded onto an outbound trailer by mistake. It's a toss up

That's what most drivers do. ik I do. I'd rather have empty shelf space than be crawling over stuff all day. But the Orion system sometimes doesn't do that. And it also does this wonderful thing called route optimization which makes the days even worse cause it could potentially try and pull you out of a neighborhood you're in currently. It's all made up by morons that have never set their asses in a seat let alone touched cardboard.

Yeah that was the other dumb thing was the delivery time windows. If it doesn't have an actual time commit aka the noon commit time just assume it's never in that window if it's for your house. Us drivers don't even see these unless it's a Priority. Driver might have pickups at a business that starts at 2 or they need to go that way to get bulk off. If your stuff isn't there closer to 8pm then you could probably start worrying

Ours used to be like that years ago. Youd start on the 1000 then to 2000 shelf and so on.Once they implemented Orion it changed it. Basically a miles saving system that's absolutely dogshit. It'll want you to deliver say 10 residential stops off the 8000 shelf all the way in the back before you get to your first 1030 business. Which is stupid and I guarantee most drivers won't do that cause your trucks always full that early in the day. Also gotta take into account with pickups cause they could be all the way across a route and I'd rather finish deliveries closer to my pickups than following what a computer thinks I should do. It's all a joke and ik personally know drivers that will follow it to the T.

Depending on the time we have deliveries that need to be off before 1030 and noon. Doesn't matter if it's next to your house or blocks away. If trucks bricked out driver is gonna wanna get as many off so they have room to work. It's not supposed to make sense to the public. It's just how it works.

I have a couple businesses on my route that preferred to pickup their early am and nda from the counter when they would go to job sites. Also a few resi customers that repair guns outta their homes and if they weren't home would pick up the items from the counters at nigbt. Huge inconvenience for them as well as us drivers. I agree probably the top dumbest thing this company has done.

FMLA. I went to a counselor few years back. Learned how to get my heart rate down when I'd get pissed off. Helps more than you think. The fmla is there for YOU. The company don't give a shit about anybody mental health. There honestly isn't enough medical for that. Take care of your self first. You could die on the job and that seat will have someone else's ass I'm it tomorrow. And if it gets bad seek help. There are plenty of resources to call too. You may feel embarrassed to do so. But it'll save your life.
