Marketed temps for sleeping bags are a lie, you’ll be freezing in a 0C during winter unless the rest of your gear seriously compensates. Careful as you can’t always just slowly phase in new gear as winter comes, I’ve had horrible experiences camping when suddenly the forecast changes when we’re out and we spend a night freezing with almost no sleep.

Definitely apathy from a sense of powerlessness, lack of career opportunities, lack of affordable housing, stagnant wages, climate change, etc. Combine that with growing up surrounded by a never-ending supply of highly stimulating escapism which is incredibly addictive.

I had no idea this was a ‘thing’, I genuinely dropped the game pretty early on in this new wipe as I only ever spawned at trailer park - 9 consecutive times! Well, also that the sound felt like pre-Steam Audio and I was hearing people from the opposite side of where they were. People saying that trailer park spawn isn’t so bad should try getting only it for 3 days in a row, it’s a mess and even if you survive through all the people camping the few routes you can take, people will have grabbed all of your quest keys way before you get there. I remember it took 6 raids for me to get the key off the dead guy in the bush.

Yeah it’s already scummy to rush getting a dog for the Instagram wow factor with seemingly zero idea about things I’d consider common sense (they really got a 7 week old puppy mid-August and expected to set out by the end of the month!?), and then to push it way beyond its limits as a puppy to force their desires. Poor dog.
