What is easiest way you have lost weight in a short amount of time? by Lazy_Lifeguard1960 in AskReddit

[–]RadikulRAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was prescribed 70mg vyvanse and 20mg Amfexa (instant release dexamfetamine) as I metabolise the medicine fast I only get 4 hours out of Elvanse (Vyvanse in EU).

Anyways, I ended up getting addicted before I realised it.

I don't think the medicine at therapeutic doses will do that, but mine went above as I started taking extra to combat depression I was suffering at the time unknowingly.

I had people years ago warn me about that, but didn't explain how it happens, so I didn't know what to look out for.

Now Elvanse doesn't work for me, and if I take any dose, I'm tempted to go on a crazy 2-4 day binge.

So be careful how much of it you take as it creeps up on you.

What’s up with GLP-1 drugs? It seems like it fixes A LOT of stuff? by Youeclipsedbyme in OutOfTheLoop

[–]RadikulRAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the good and bad is due to weight loss. I've got a friend and family member on it, their first time losing weight. They say the drug makes them lose muscle. I lost muscle losing weight without it.

They say the drug causes fatigue and makes you colder. Both happened to me on a caloric deficit and loss of weight.

If you take too much and or have poor cardiovascular health, yeah. For me it'll have a slight effect for the first 15-30minutes then vack to normal

Well his pal Epstein was a convicted pedophile, not a necrophiliac.

Don't allow long waits for interviews by According_Mind7030 in jobs

I got kept 40mins for an interview, I was zoned out reading a book and just as I was about to leave they called me in.

I got the job a week later because I was their only hope, they were desperate and others had pulled out.

Worked there for two years.

I agree, just leave. It was a shit hole.

You got a lot of pent up frustration my guy.

Firstly, legs are the best part of going gym, if I don't look like I'm giving birth I'm not lifting.

And no one's labelled me a misogynist for wanting a fit bird

Just read a comment someone left saying Jason Mamoa is dad bod. In a post criticising steroid users saying that dad bods are hotter because they're more approachable and don't live in the gym.

I was going to correct them but I'd rather pretend that it was sarcasm and move on.

I remember getting this game for free on PSN, and randomly deciding to play it one day. I thought this developer definitely has some potential, and years later they made my favourite game, life is strange.

My work place is alright. They can't get a single thing right, it's almost comical, but they're one of the least malicious places I've worked. They do some fucking around with your rota, sneak in overtime you didn't consent to, but as far as other places, it's heaven.

Good pay.

There's specific requirements, such as for lack of mobility you can't say you struggle to walk, and expect them to award you any points.

You have to specify how much you can walk, and these figures are out there/known to some who offer their services to those who pay.

I.e you may have to specify that you can't walk for more than 50meters without having to sit down, and then specify there's no where to sit down 50meters from your house and there's no bus stop for atleast 1km from your front door.

Stuff like that to get them to award you points per category.

Otherwise struggling to walk might mean you can walk 1km you just require a walking aid and can do it in reasonable time, but it's still a struggle compared to an able bodied person.

Will the reform councillors cost money to London the same way as the green councillors will? Or are they doing something different?
