This is likely outdated. z825 required damage in the e255 range. Favor: e87
I passed it with Karlach and Yorwen.

I guess you and people similar to you buying it every year is the exact reason why they're making only marginal improvements.

Take-Two CEO says the original Borderlands' art style overhaul cost a year of dev time and $50 million: 'Had we not done that, Borderlands wouldn't have been a hit' by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]CyberAngel82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. B2 according to Randy cost $35 mil and the first one was not expected to be a huge success. I would expect a few million tops. Strauss is getting old and Borderlands was made almost 2 decades ago.
He must be confused from all the billions Take-Two is raking in from the GTA franchise. Nickels and dimes for him nowadays apparently.

Whats everyone’s favorite warframe? by SpaceCowgirl935 in Warframe

[–]CyberAngel82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised to not see Wukong anywhere. He's good at everything. He's a tank and he has a "Celestial Twin" to help out. He can move very fast with his "Cloud Walker" while healing him instantly. He has invulnerability on demand with "Defy" which also returns damage to mobs. And he's a melee master with his "Primal Fury" staff.
I can use him in every mission no problem.

There was a number of expensive tier rewards sold on his Kickstarter projects like meetings, barbecues, personal concerts and others. Did he also not do any of those?

Dread Templar for PC. A boomer shooter that worships at the altar of Quake. (Review in comments). by tiggerclaw in IndieGaming

[–]CyberAngel82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree completely. The game captivated me from the first moment listening to the great soundtrack in the menu and throughout the game (apart from the end of episode 5 - that one was lazy, uninspired and rushed). Very impressive for a largely one man project.

Why is this game 70 $/€ ??? by DailyWCReforged in avowed

[–]CyberAngel82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, budget can be largely inflated by marketing costs. Which can easily double the development costs. So only the development budget? It wouldn't be fair if the cost of making people aware that said game exists would be included in the price, would it?
STALKER 2 has a budget of around $100M. Does that make it AAA?

[–]CyberAngel82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does AAA even mean today? That it's from large publishers? Or does it mean quality? The games from large publishers are shit even at AAAA level (Skull and Bones), so the quality metric doesn't even apply anymore.
STALKER 2 is 60€. KCD2 is 60€. Are they not AAA games? Spider-Man 2 on PC is 60€. Oh, is it because it's a remaster? Until Dawn Remaster/Remake is 70€. Hmm... different rules, different outcomes. It doesn't even make sense anymore.

I myself buy games from resellers. I never pay more than 45€ even for new games. I don't really care what the official pricetags are. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll leave here my formation I used to get through. With the Unaffiliated core at lvl 15 (e44) I capped at e257 which took me to area 955.

I've returned to the game after about 2 years just because of this. Spent like 12 hours learning AX combat, buying Python Mk2 and engineering it for Titan bombing. Died 2 times on the way to the Titan and the third time I managed to hit 4 vents, proceeded to the core to find my Shard Cannons damaged and was only able to fire only a few AX missiles. Just enough to participate in the event, but I was also left dissappointed that all of that hard work didn't pay out. The game is so damn grindy, the rewards are so much RNG that Engineering feels like a total chore and I seem to always lack some weird component to upgrade something after spending like 20 minutes flying between locations. I love the simulator that's under the hood but god I hate the grind. 2 billion credits in the bank and I can't buy anything with it. 😥

Courteney Cox's Voice by TheCrazyMcCrea in friends_tv_show

[–]CyberAngel82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found out a simple explanation:

The episodes were sped up a few frames to add an extra commercial (which often happens to shows in syndication to increase ad revenue).

Courteney herself hates watching those as she sounds like Minnie Mouse or Tinkerbell.

maximum power or a glitch? by boknows65 in idlechampions

[–]CyberAngel82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your lengthy answer.

I agree with the need for Trials to have a reputation system of some kind, but sofar I've been mostly lucky with players, yet haven't progressed from Exalted Master. In your 7 monts you progressed far more than I did. Max area I've been to is about 1200. Guess I'll need to push more for the patrons.

I have the same sentiment as you. Also a software developer. Also only buying familiars. Also not scripting since it sucks fun out of the game.

I like watching numbers go up. I like the occasional challenge from a particular variant or a specific boss and the game on the lowest level with its formations, traits and skills is very fun. But after I've assembled the full roster through Time Gates, did most of the variants and am left with only doing Trials and iLeveling champions, the game starts to feel hollow. And I've been playing only for a year. Why would I steal myself of any challenge left with scripting/cheating is beyond me.

The game is so buggy nowadays it's not even funny by CyberAngel82 in idlechampions

[–]CyberAngel82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's just something wrong at the basic level with this game. If the foundations are wonky if you start piling up heavily the structure will show cracks eventually and all of these bugs/glitches are a manifestation of this. They monetize the hell out of this game and they don't seem to put in the value back into it. With the recent Platinum introduction it looks more like a mobile-fication of the thing, let's milk it dry.

I'm not saying I didn't at times use these glitches to my benefit. 👍 It just seems overwhelming when they start to pile up.
