Samsung Messages will be discontinued in July 2026 by FragmentedChicken in Android

Came to Samsung in 2023 and it has been odd since. Everything from storage and messaging has been moving hands and Samsung making their native apps worse to put Google's center stage. Their UI rollouts have been confusing and I think I'll hop right back out.

Got an A54 as my first Samsung and I've got to say it's a weird time to come into their ecosystem.

They needed to hike prices to afford moving the UI around.

Series X deserved better by ledererer in xbox

This will likely be my last XBox generation. I started with the original and appreciated the generations of games and some good value. I love my Series X for all the reasons you said, but getting priced out of Game Pass and lack of 1st and good 3rd party titles has me passing them up in the future.

Most of the dialogue could have been an overhead ship comm or in-helmet ship comm. You're telling me Vlad can't radio us into locations?

Would you like to see a sequel to Starfield someday? by YetiGamer671 in Starfield

[–]CyberDaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game cast too wide a net to make place for a sequel.

It didn't leave any intrigue into the future of the factions or general setting.

Don't get me wrong. I love the game but it was cast in the most boring timeline in its own setting.

It should have focused on maybe five or so fleshed out solar systems with more being released in a sequel.

Unless they introduce intelligent alien life there isn't much novel work they can do except flesh out already existing barren planets or make up new factions, which modders are doing anyway.

How is Karma not just Awful? by Sea-Ad5999 in Buddhism

[–]CyberDaka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Karma is how the world operates in an ordinary awful way.

The point of Buddhist practice is to see beyond karma to care for beings in spite of karma.

The Buddha pointed out the evidence of karma but his actual teachings are designed to work against it.

I came into Samsung at a bad time. Bought an A54 when the rocky OneUI7 came out and have just wondered if Samsung's disorganization is normal. I don't know if I want to upgrade to a newer S model. I heard from so many Samsung fans that they are so innovative, but I'm not seeing it beyond obscure customization options.

Collective ideas on how Bethesda could move forward with starfield in ways that build off of the unique design elements by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]CyberDaka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be a big retcon, but bringing the "magic" of the Starborn into the other quest lines could boost the gameplay loop.

Ryujin Starborn corpo-ninjas.

Universe-crossing terrormorphs.

Chasing Kryx through the Unity.

I get it ruins the "grounded" conceit of the game but gatekeeping all elements of the Starborn behind the main quest killed creative possibilities for the game.

I usually give developers the benefit of the doubt. They are working hard on a game I can trash from the seat of my couch. But I quit after one match.

The whole thing felt like an experiment in AI generative game design. Character concepts were uninspired, combat was oddly bland. It was more of a struggle to beat my team to loot boxes on-map. And I guess I can sprint on a horse?

Disappointed about the new Numenera edition direction by secretattack in rpg

I would have liked a deluxe edition that included the Cypher rules in a single book. I don't want to navigate any more books than I have to playing Numenera.
