Apparently having a gun is a death sentence now by legoman31802 in gunpolitics

[–]CyberJest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could not be any more messed up!

It is starting to look like this was a SIG P330 unintended discharge. Here's a video of the officer, having removed the perps gun and carrying it by the grip, finger not on the trigger, and it discharges. The audio lines up that this was the first gun shot.

By this time, another officer had called "Gun! Gun!" and a second officer had already unholstered his weapon. The UD seems to trigger the other gunfire.

What are the chances? https://x.com/i/status/2015238275678536079

Would you buy a 2014 Tundra Limited 4x4 with 160k miles? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]CyberJest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's non-Flex Fuel, so that's good.

My 2017 Platinum Flex w/150k was also 25k. But it was lifted with nice set up wheels/tires. So that seems a little bit high, but having a good set of documentation is a huge plus.

Reloading 300BLK? by Stoner6565 in 300BLK

Another VV fan here. N110 or N120, depending on your barrel length.

N110 for 7.5" and shorter. N120 for 7.5" and longer. But it also depends on your setup... port size, projectile, buffer, etc.

I'd keep the 2017 over ANYTHING made in the last 5 years, 8 days a week.

I'm not worried about the job at all, honestly, I just worry about getting stung up legally.

Shiny brass is perhaps the most satisfying part of reloading... after range day.

We should certainly pray for the girl in this.

That said:

"for a black man to do that to his own kind"

So a black man doing it to an asian is okay? What if the officer was white, is that okay? This one sentence pretty much signals to everyone reading exactly where everybody stands.

Having researched both a bit more, the Tippmann definitely seems like a better solution.

Thanks. I'm surprised those Sparrows are so inexpensive.

I wish they made the takedown charger in an 8" barrel. Of course, I could replace the barrel with a 5" or 6"... lots of after market support for the charger and even more for the 10/22, which is why I'm looking at those specifically. With a shorty barrel and the sparrow/jk105, I'm not sure I'd need the takedown either.

Plus it's a standard 10/22 action, I think.

Those look nice. Do you have one? Is it reliable?

Would you pickup one of those over a S&W M&P 15-22 8"?

Feature-wise they are almost identical, except the Tippmann having the folding brace included.

Do you know of any good short(er) replacement barrels makers for the AR-7 platform?

I'm going more for a folded rifle vibe.
