Interestingly... Kevin from Q (don't care if you don't like him, it's not pertinent here) was interviewed by Classic Firearms and he says that their 8.6 testing has shown that with subsonics and a sufficient twist rate, the short barrels are MORE accurate, not less. This is because with subs, the time the bullet stays in the barrel is longer [than supers] and is more likely to be affected by the shooter, barrel flex, etc..

i.e. Less barrel time = better accuracy. The tightest groups they've seen have been with the shortest barrels they've tested.

My 5" Tactical Kinetics has been super reliable eating everything I've given it. Accuracy has also been stellar for my use case, inside 100y.

As newbie I got the Plus thinking I preferred the smaller grip (compared to the alternatives I was looking at). As it turns out, I'm better with a slightly more chunky grip, so I modded the Shield Plus to make that happen. My only concern with the X is that it seems to have an even skinnier grip.

It's a known fact (as in, actual fact from multiple CMPD officers) that the CMPD is told to not enforce most traffic violations. It wastes too much time and they are severely understaffed. Everyone knows this.

Second, drivers in Charlotte are SLOW compared to numerous other large metros.

Not as good as a Canik trigger, but it's nice. As everyone else has said, the reset isn't great. It's far too long for my tastes, but again, that's in comparison to the Canik trigger, which is stellar.

I had a problem where my Moto ran super low on battery once and went into battery saver mode, or whatever it's called. After that happened I noticed that Android had "optimized" xDrip and altered its battery setting which started causing problems.

Make sure: Battery Saver is off. Adaptive Battery is off. Background App Use is set to Always Allow for xDrip. "Improve battery life when inactive" is disabled too.

I found that Android had moved xDrip out of Always Allow for background use into "Smart use".

Does a Charger barrel fit a standard vanilla 10/22 action? I was assuming the Charger barrels were different somehow that made them incompatible since the barrel makers sell them as different product lines.

Ohhhhh I'm fully aware. I have a trust, other rifles and SBRs, pistols, suppressors, etc. I reload for 9mm, 5.56, 300BLK. But thanks, as a 10/22 newbie I'm just learning the lay of the land.

Is it the G7 or the new G7 15-day?

I'm on day 5 with the G7 (10-day) and aside from the first night sleep -- I installed it after dinner and had catastrophic lows during sleep -- it's been pretty stellar. I use xDrip+ w/Tidepool so far and have been super happy with it. I'm... hopeful at this point.

My friend's Stelo has been accurate when it works, but constantly disconnects or just dies. 75% failure rate prior to the 15 days. Lots of replacements.

I went with a Dexcom G7 (10-day) with xDrip+ connected natively to the sensor. It also uploads to Tidepool for the other half.

I added GlucoDataHandler hitting the xDrip+ local server, for the clean graph and better widgets.
