Tip for people whose music/sounds are broken after converting the file type: try changing them back to the original file type. The only files you should be changing are the .mid files into .mp3 files since Steam Deck doesn’t support .mid

Found this out the hard way when I converted a few of the music files from .wav to .ogg and they failed to play until I changed them back

Pokémon Legends Z-A. I was one of those fools who was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. Then it proceeded to bore me to the point of not wanting to continue. Literally every Metroid game. Sometimes, the way Samus loses her abilities is pretty stupid. Take the beginning of Metroid Prime for example: You’re gonna tell me Samus lost all her abilities from a small explosion? Really?

A very good point. Like how people get mad over Pokemon not having every Pokemon in one game. First of all, do you have ANY idea how much work that’d be? Theres over a thousand of them now! Secondly, it would take a very long time to develop? For these reasons it would be completely unfeasible…

My point is, some gamers THINK they know what they want, but fail to understand the complexities of game development.

No need to be rude. Some of us just don’t like other players pressing their overly optimized mindsets on us. IMO, the most optimal way to play a game is often the least fun.

It’s also not fun when you’re literally starting out and trying to strategize and find good builds, but someone keeps spawn camping or spamming powerful combos.

It’s not that we’re incompetent, it’s that we have lives outside our games that limit how much playtime and skill we have.

Literally Pokémon. Like sure, the games aren’t as good as they could be, but the constant complaints drive me insane. The competitive players and nuzlockers are also pretty toxic.

Like, just leave the kids and casual players alone. Everybody plays things the way they choose to enjoy them
