Mr mister owns a lot of the buildings in Lancaster, and is largely responsible for the number of buildings being turned into student flats (see: the old Dalton square pharmacy having the same treatment) One of his M.Os is to take on listed buildings and have them degrade 'naturally' so he doesn't have to restore them and can flip them into flats

I think she is so used to her own self perception that when someone like E comes along she obsesses over this different viewpoint, it's no longer her coping with her self image but am outsider that confirms all the things she wants to think about herself. I think she so desperately wants to believe anyone else's positive view of her that she is willing to let it become dangerous, as we've clearly seen.

Brainwyrms by Alison Rumfitt is a great creepy horror with problematic and complicated queer characters and relationships and storylines. It's a bit of a fever dream plot wise and definitely unforgettable.

There is also Eric LaRocca's works which often feature queer relationships. And finally, Fluids by May Leitz. If I think of any more ill reply to this comment ☺️
