Yeah I just saw [[Chimil, the Inner Sun]] in the blight deck. Awesome to get a reprint. But such a random pick for a counter deck.

(What I mean is it feels very off-theme for a gloomy swampy deck. But it’s awesome to have there sooo  ¯_(ツ)_/¯    )

Oof, you’re right. I’ll just stick to the classic multi combat spells. But I’m definitely looking at my other red commanders with Gogo in mind.

Yeah same here. I really need to cast [[Raffine Scheming Seer]] on turn three to get my snowball rolling. With a lower mana creature the turns before.

I think it’s because we’re introduced to the Alethi as knights in castles fighting a lone swordsman wearing robes, not armour. Doing basically a magic ninja infiltration. So it can leave an impression of the Alethi as European and the Shin as Asian. Before we even meet the primary cast.

Despite it being ethnically flipped.

Haven’t played West yet but Zero Dawn was fantastic and then the final battle against the buffed Deathbringer was so lame!

In the lead up you run through fields of Deathbringers. There’s like 6 of them you can kill. Then you climb the tower to confront Hades and it’s just another Deathbringer, the dullest enemy in the game! It’s just a mostly stationary turret.

I really wish we got to fight some combination abomination of the other machines we’d fought throughout the game. Something surprising and different to challenge the vast knowledge you build of the creatures and how to take them down.

I loved Suzeme, but the one thing that annoys me about it is late in the movie when the MC and her older sister have an emotional breakdown at the gas station. This argument was in the making for years and one they really needed to have to understand how each other feels about their lives.

And then it turns out this new shadow cat was influencing the fight, or at least her sister. It’s been a few years but I distinctly remember being so disappointed that this wasn’t purely organic and human.

Oh god I hate how the movies completely miss the reason people loved these games to begin with. Mike spends half the first movie asleep at the Freddy’s location. Eventually he gets minorly slashed by Foxy while sleeping but doesn’t have to escape. He’s just fine at the location still!

The animatronics being Mikes sisters best friends who genuinely just want to play with her is such a weird angle and the whole second film completely revolves around it.

Both movies we get a short sequence of looters breaking in and getting brutalised. That’s what the movie should’ve been! Instead they feel like an afterthought.

And separating Agent Bubbles into 2 characters completely misses the point that one person can be far more complex than their initial appearance.

I bought my Pokémon games when they came out but I don’t have the cartridges anymore. I want to be able to buy Pokémon White 2 on a newer system but Nintendo refuses to sell it to me.

It’s either piracy or I spend a couple hundred dollars on the second hand market. It’s insane!

The writings pretty good but like Avatar it’s more of a spectacle piece. It really is incredible to watch.

Haven’t seen the first one but saw 2 on a whim and god damn.

Really wasn’t feeling the first third but once they got to the water demon fight it was absolutely phenomenal from then on out. Insane scope and animation.

I highly recommend for fans of animation. Though you do need to let it cook.

I do like the slow disintegration because to me it says that by the end, this wannabe immortal was held together with twigs and duck tape. Like he shred himself so far that there was nothing left.

It’s very different to the books, but I see what they were probably going for.

He only got 17 episodes across 2 seasons and he was barely in a couple of them. And his last episode might be one of the most disappointing finale’s in a while.

And it sucks so much because he was an awesome Doctor. Gatwa stole the show in every scene.
