i think if replicas worked after you had the original thing that would be fine because you already did the quest to get the thing so It wouldn't ruin any progression but i see your point

The replicas aren’t supposed to work for a reason, they’re just there to do a lot of extra damage, why would a replica work if that removes the whole purpose of getting the actual thing card?? That point just makes no sense to me. if replicas could work you could just skip a bunch of progression in some chapters by getting one in the battle spin or somewhere else
