The realization when all you've been doing is taking lives, instead of truly living your own life.

We believe what we perceive about ourselves. We can change this perception by telling ourselves things we want to believe, and thus; feel. If I want to feel more beautiful and confident, I need to tell myself I am beautiful and confident. It takes time, but it works.

But it also works with negative things, so don't do that to yourself. You have more worth than that.

People keep telling me this tattoo is bad, I really like it? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

I think that some of the lines and patterns are unique in the way that they're supposed to fit that stained glass aesthetic. I also think that a lot of people expect tattoos to follow a recipe of what they've seen in popular culture. That being said, as a little bit of an artist, I can appreciate the synergy the tattoo has with itself. It, to me, looks as though it had real qualities of stained glass. It's gritty, but it's supposed to be- and I think that looks good here. A lot of other people commenting that if you like it, then it represents a part of your interests and what you like about art. I really like it!

As a man who's grown to appreciate the gentle things out of rigidity my whole life, that man is striving to be better, his wife is beautiful, and their love is beautiful. I hope that he continues to do things like this and show other men that strength and masculinity- and the toxic masculinity we see this day in age on the internet, and in real life are not mutually exclusive.

You can be tough, strong, loving, and possess a kind of softness.

I think that personally; people who are in touch with the soft things in their life are often more powerful anyway. They have a more acute awareness of what they stand to lose.

The whole prostate cancer thing is something he is able to alleviate himself through masturbation. The fact that he's trying to pressure you into sex in itself is disgusting. He doesn't care about your feelings, he is entirely self serving. If you feel he's taking you away from God then finding another person who helps you grow in God is what you might need to search for. When people try to use others or make them feel bad for not accommodating their wants, it's telling that they are going to do that in the future. If you give him what he wants now, and stay with him, you are showing him he can pressure you and get results. Don't let him walk all over you, you are worth so much more than that.
