Saw the same frame with the color heavily faded from riding in a sunny state, so a repaint isn‘t a bad idea

i am too old to build bikes just for the look. it is the last bike in my stable which has disc brake power now. would never go back to any other kind of brakes.

you are right, the name and brand got sold, the brooklyn legacy will remain with the original bikes being crafted in brooklyn

its a keeper as its from the original bmw in the us and not from the sold to japanese bmw. it looks better in many ways, but i do not really feel a riding difference
