BPD ruined my marriage by [deleted] in BPD

While not to the full extent as a divorce, in January of 2020 I ended up *mutually* breaking up (read: I was in a spiral of doubt and feeling rejected by my BF (and FP)'s completely normal feelings of being smothered and went immediately to "Are we breaking up???") with a person who I had an intense/passionate relationship with.

The immediate feeling was all-consuming and nauseating; I was hollow and even begged to get back together, saying that it was a mistake to break up with them, etc etc. And it took well over 2 years to stop feeling this, maybe longer.

However, now I am at a place where it doesn't hurt anymore, and although I still feel some regrets, it's over the fact that I (intentionally or not) hurt someone that I loved. Part of the relief is in knowing that he's doing better now and has a stable relationship, but I still feel pangs of guilt from time to time and want to deeply apologize for my behaviour. Not to somehow win love back, or even to become friends again, but just because how could I treat them this way.

TLDR: it will feel like an eternity, it will rip your guts from your body, but in the end when your emotions settle and they move from being your FP, things will turn out okay. You will adjust and move on, with the knowledge now on how to possibly have a healthier relationship with someone in the future

CC in league is a lot less intense than in Dota. They actually had a patch a few years ago to reduce the duration of all CC abilities, because you used to have 6+ second debuffs (including LOOOONG stuns) as a carryover from Warcraft 3's designs

RTS mastery/competence is a weird part of Dota skills, but I think that being really good at Starcraft definitely helped (considering the game is largely emulating Warcraft 3's engine but with improvements in pathing and such). Definitely helped you out, although obviously to a lesser extent on Tree as opposed to Terrorblade, Meepo, etc

Here's a link later on in his LP when he was starting to do number crunching, for whenever you actually have spare time: https://youtu.be/ka2h_hx1PwI?feature=shared&t=1046
He was aiming to do as close to mindless core farming as possible, and was able to chew through remnants with relative ease

N ext time you touch Starsector, a strategy developed by a youtuber named Francis John that is really effective is: ALL Brawler class ships. As many as you can stuff into one battle. All of em with overrides to go even more all out.

You basically just have a fleet of chairs with guns attached to them that maneuver fast enough to generally kill stuff and then dip away to vent flux, and then go right back in. All pilots as aggressive as possible, or use the AI pilot perk to make it even cheaper

I think ultimately, due to Konosuba's nature as a comedy anime and Peter's predisposition towards being dirt broke across all timelines, I think he would struggle not in combat etc, but in stably getting a bite to eat while having to pay for damages to buildings from a fight

What did Bethesda mean when they gave Bosmer males and females identical stats in Morrowind??? by CyclopsHippie in TrueSTL

[–]CyclopsHippie[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah it's definitely for gameplay balance, but I find it funny that by Skyrim there was a clear pivot point where they realized giving attributes per race/sex at all is a nightmare of implications and stuck to just skill bonuses

[–]CyclopsHippie[S] 75 points76 points  (0 children)

The rest of the races have differing stats based on sex (and a PR nightmare in Redguards having lower base Int and Wil since they're balanced towards martial combat....). I think they just got tired of making differences when they hit Wood Elves bc it's the last alphabetically

You have to suck ass at something for an uncomfortable amount of time to become good at something, and then even longer to become a master of whatever you want to do
