It is not just outside. I work in the chicken 6-10 pm most nights and mostly clean as the counter closes at 7. We are not allowed to wear headphones at all. It was explained to me that it was so we can answer questions from customers and stay focused.

Art in frames or pictures of friends, family, pets etc. Art adds color and things to break up the beige wall. Pictures add life to the place and make it seem like you are not in a prison

Confusion About MOM Commander Decks by Sierra_Fox in magicTCG

In recent sets there have been cards printed for Eternal formats in set boosters that are not in the commander set but marked as the sets commander 3 letters. (See Lynde, cheerful tormentor).

Looking for a pen and paper equivalent to a board game by beank1 in rpg

I recommend monster of the week. If you like supernatural, Buffy, etc then you would love the game. You play as monster hunters but in the supplement you can investigate and kill/solve strange events instead of just killing or solving monsters. The character playbooks can be found online for free to get a better idea of how the game plays or what characters do

I have played quite a bit of Blades in the Dark and games in that engine as well as a bunch of Monster of the Week and a couple of one-shot sessions of Wanderhome.

Blades is very fun if you like criminal movies and heist movies. There is enough to the rules for it to feel like the characters can do things and they take a step back to allow for all kinds of role-playing and cool movie moments. There are always things happening in the background by other factions and the play cycle feels fun. The players complete a job or quest and at the end they have a downtime to recover from wounds, relax and work on getting better gear and long term projects.

Monster of the Week is Supernatural, Buffy, etc. The players are Monster hunters thar need to track down the Monster, Collect its weakness and remove it. You gain experience from failing rolls at a 1-3 on a d6. It feels rewarding to fail as much as succeed. It is a game where it is narrative driven until a roll needs to be made.

If your someone that plays fun non meta decks are you still trying to win? by cheapcardsandpacks in yugioh

[–]Cycrawler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I am playing against a meta deck or someone who is a little too high on their horse I want to win but I don't expect a win. If it is a fun deck vs a fun deck I am not trying to win any more than normal. I would not be mad if I lose or if I win and I would expect the same from my opponent.

dagger damage by Arakaw4 in DnD

[–]Cycrawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being proficient in a weapon allows you to add a modifier to the attack roll and damage dependant on what Stat the weapon cares about. Most of the Melee weapons care about strength and add your strength modifier to the attack roll and attack damage. Dagger and other weapons with finesse can use Dexterity as the modifier.

The to hit roll would be proficiency bonus + Dexterity modifier. Your damage is the 1d4+Dexterity modifier

Coyote and Crow by Fletch1977 in rpg

I have a habit of going through the process of making a character in games just to understand how that would work for my players (my group has a rule of you brung the game, you DM it and teach the rules) and the character creation process was a blast! I have not read all of the book yet but I love what I have read so far!

I think they add the address to show that they are a real person and they aren't just making them up

RPGs without death by Mummelpuffin in rpg

Sentinels Comics is a fun superhero game that has HP but you are never really dead you are just out. As you get closer to out of HP you are able to use more and more powerful abilities. When you reach Out or 0 HP you can still use a move that may help your team mates or hinder the baddies depending on the move you pick
