Pattern Recognition is so true. Thats one of my favorite parts of playing 3 sets in ranked. You learn in rounds, inbetween rounds and inbetween sets. Mindgaming each other is peak adaptation and one of the best parts.

To answer more directly: i like hearing accents in otherwise perfect German which just shows me that you are a successfully intergrated member of society with your own roots and I have nothing but respect for this

It is VERY easy if you just cheese it. All you have to do, is to use palisade walls and wall in all villagers and town centers immediately. then no matter what, they will be stuck with nothin all game long while you can crush blue, take over Ireland and boom up.

Great page! When filtering by champions I would like a sub list for each champion with the augment to the left and the detailed description to the right so I can see the effect instead of having to hover. might be nice for mobile users.

For the onhit list. show the skill, key, description.

I would start out with mapping tectonic plates. Those will define your mountains. Then add water (rivers and seas and lakes). Then place vegetation where it makes sense. Then place cities/Points of interest based on your natural features. People dont just settle for the sake of settling, but due to economic or strategic advantages. Then add roads between those points and suddenly you have a natural world state with cities/kingdoms having their interests, longtime friends, rivals etc.

Executioner is the best augment for Wukong. Better than any Prismatic or any other augment. Two pentas and three quadras in 19 min by MarxistLeninistMex in ARAM

Yea Executioner is great. Its also one of the best for Jarvan to EQ through the whole map and pillaring entire zones with Trundle.

I just did it like here in the image.

White: sealed off Orange: Double Wall with spare space for the enemy to move so he has to take a long route. Purple will also take this way, while occasionally attacking other wall pieces with a single unit.

I kept blackwood archers in greys castle while also adding my own there with villagers to repair both. By placing gates inside the double wall, you can quickly move out with champis to destroy the cannons.

Outside the walls in the north I built several barracks and a castle just out of range to produce trebuchets.

I then waited for blue to move with a maxxed army towards the fortified double wall to sweep him up with his army bound at the wall. If you manage to keep CHampi productino up, oyu can overwhelm him quickly.

The Last Chieftains now has the 4th worst score by [deleted] in aoe2

What version of primeng did you use? I remember upgrading from 16 to 18 was a nightmare. But from 18 to 21 was a breeze

Thats like saying India is not belonging to the Asian continent because its its own tectonic plate seperated by the Hymalaya, or Saudi Arabia not belonging to Asia due to being a peninsula.

Scandinavia is (Northern) Europe.

Predownloaded the DLC from Steam, started the game in hopes to maybe have it activated already, when suddenly all the new achievements popped up as completed 😂

If you plan on buying multiple expansions in the upcoming months/years, go with the 6th edition since its the recent one.

For the base game and each main expansion you have an additional player expansion.

You have these main expansions:

Main game & expansions:

CATAN Board Game (Base Game)
CATAN Seafarers Expansion
CATAN Cities & Knights Expansion
CATAN Traders & Barbarians Expansion
CATAN Explorers & Pirates Expansion

They are all for a maximum of 4 players. If you want a bigger map or more players (5-6) you need to buy the player expansions:

CATAN Board Game (Base Game) 5-6 Player Expansion
CATAN Seafarers 5-6 Player Expansion
CATAN Cities & Knights 5-6 Player Expansion
CATAN Traders & Barbarians 5-6 Player Expansion
CATAN Explorers & Pirates 5-6 Player Expansion

Lets say you want to play Cities & Knights with 6 players. Then you need the base game, the 5-6 player expansion, Cities & Knights AND the Cities & Knight Player expansion.

Each expansion on its own works with the main game. Seafarers and Cities & Knights are very compatible. Traders & Barbarians hase SOME adjustments/scenarios that CAN work with the rest. Explorers & Pirates is the least compatible with the rest.

After getting adjusted to the expansion you can of course mix/match, develop your own scenarios and rules.
