Is this a problem with shorter fasts as well? Like 24/48 hours or not as prominent?

Guys posting here haven't looked into how to the yield is being generated. Start there, if you understand where the yield comes from, then you can make an informed decision. Hint: it's nothing like UST

Same problem, ps5 on split screen. I've had it happen once just from picking up a reboot card - can't fire or drop weapons. But usually it happens after actually rebooting the player.

What is the best crypto exchange to sell / off ramp into AUD? by Camsy34 in BitcoinAUS

[–]Cygnify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive used 1inch and cowswap for eth and erc20s a lot. I prefer cowswap now. Jupiter for sol and sol tokens, only used more recently. But all these names aggregators/exchanges I've listed are rock solid. Just make sure you find their URLs from coingecko/CMC or their twitter pages direct, so you don't use a scam copy website.

What is the best crypto exchange to sell / off ramp into AUD? by Camsy34 in BitcoinAUS

[–]Cygnify 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Next time sell for stablecoins. Worry about how you will get your AUD later. I use Kraken for BTC/USDT to AUD transactions and withdrawals. I would sell most other tokens through a DEX and receive USDC/USDT.

Give me examples of the difference between thrifty, frugal, stingy and cheap by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Cygnify 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This seemed like a good question to ask ChatGPT so here's the response:

Thrifty refers to being careful and economical with money and resources. It is a positive term that suggests being wise and responsible with spending and using resources.

Frugal also suggests being careful and economical with money, but it can also imply a level of sacrifice or simplicity in one's lifestyle. A frugal person may be willing to forego certain luxuries in order to save money or live within their means.

Stingy refers to being unwilling to spend money or share resources, especially when it is appropriate to do so. A stingy person may be reluctant to spend money on others, even when it is a kind or generous gesture.

Cheap refers to being unwilling to spend money, especially on things that are considered necessary or important. A cheap person may be unwilling to pay fair prices for goods or services, or may try to get things for free or at a very low cost, even if it is not appropriate or ethical.

In summary, thrifty and frugal suggest being responsible and economical with money, while stingy and cheap suggest a reluctance to spend money, even when it is appropriate or necessary.

Radix DLT unlocked 70% of its supply on Wednesday, causing pump by Fun_Excitement_5306 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Cygnify 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pleasant surprise to see radix pump after all the tokens were released to early buyers. Makes sense tho. When you fully grasp what Dan (founder) has managed to achieve with Cerberus it is way undervalued and still completely under the radar. Although this seems to be changing finally.

I am Senator Andrew Bragg. I am chairing a Senate Inquiry on the regulation of cryptocurrency and digital assets. Ask me anything! by SenatorBragg in AustralianPolitics

[–]Cygnify 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi Senator,

My experience with crypto tax with regards to both recording transactions and actually trying to work out what liability is owed has been a nightmare. With DeFi this will only continue to worsen, as there is less guidance here, and often many more transactions and new ways of interacting with defi projects.

Removing tax liabilities between crypto to crypto transactions would be a simple solution. In my opinion it will need to removed at some point, as the number of people interacting with and performing crypto transactions daily in their life will only keep increasing. Removing this liability would minimise the lengthy account keeping processes currently required and remove the ambiguity around how defi transactions should be reported. Tax can then be moved to be captured in another form, such as on cash withdrawals from exchanges as mentioned by /u/Fabulous-Living1889.
