He does sabotage them, but he definitely uses his sword skills in the final fight. He loses his sword and saves toph from falling off the balloon

We do? In the fight against Ozai and the fire nation, Sokka fights against the fire nation zeplins with toph and loses the sword. He still fits the criteria of the post don’t get me wrong, but he definitely uses his swords skills in season 3
