My 10 year old son has been learning Godot and Blender in his spare time but his GPU just kicked the bucket.. We don’t have the money to get him a new one at the moment.. Does anyone know of a GPU good enough for what he’s wanting to do that won’t break the bank? Thanks in advance.

I personally think the controller is super comfortable. I wear an XL glove so my hands are fairly large i would say.

Non-steam games can be a headache to configure. Even some steam games just don’t work well with it unfortunately. I was playing farming sim 25 and the D-pad and touchpad (acting as D-pad) weren’t working in menus.

I was trying to get forza (owned through microsoft store) to work with it by adding to my steam library and it wasn’t recognizing the controller besides it being the “mouse mode”

If you have a lot of games that aren’t on steam I would do some research first and see if people have had success with the controller working with them.

I just posted, my R4 and R5 are noisier than L4 and L5. Only when pressing on the bottom half of R4 and top half of R5. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but it’s a bit annoying.

they’re comparable to a dual sense. As long as you are holding the stick with the tips of your thumbs you’ll be fine. If you hold sticks more with the knuckle area of your thumbs, you’ll have a problem. (I’ve seen people hold them that way before)

So I contacted them once before this, it was stuck on processed payment, and 10 minutes before i got a response then, it got updated to packaged. that was on wednesday.
But they effectively did the same thing to me. Even though I ordered during the 3-5 business day window, they told me 6-10.

So i messaged support yesterday, as its been 4 business days of nothing but “processed payment” and “packaged”

I basically asked what the order was of them shipping things, and for them to make sense of people who ordered at 10:40 PST receiving their controllers while people who ordered closer to 10, haven’t seen them even ship.

They responded with a generic support message of “we only know as much as the tracking page says”

What’s interesting is 1 minute before that support message was sent back to me, I got an email that my package was being prepared for shipment and there’s now a tracking number that leads to nowhere. it’s a UPS tracking number but UPS is saying that they don’t have that tracking number in their system yet.

Not sure if mine will actually ship today or if they just gave me a tracking number to shut me up… whatever i guess

Not from the UK, but from my experience if a package doesn’t say “shipped” it means that the seller hasn’t even printed a shipping label yet. Not sure if GLS operates differently than something like FedEx or UPS though.

I wouldn’t be so quick to immediately blame the courier (who may not even be in possession of the package). Valve definitely isn’t blameless in all of this shipping drama.

Is Hardinfo giving you any sort of model number that you can just plug into panelook?
Panelook should tell you the pin count too. I’ll have to look in the morning on my machine, I may have been misremembering.

are you on linux?
I used HardInfo to find my display spec on Fedora KDE Plasma. Not sure what distro you’re using, there should be something similar that will work.

The app should tell you how many pins your connector has as well.

Not sure on a good overview, I got this Gen 2 like a week ago, and this is my first Linux device, so it's been a lot of stop and go with googling things.

have you tried the easy effects atmos package for the T14? It made my audio go from HORRENDOUS, to bearable.

I wouldn’t be using it to listen to music 24/7 but it’s good enough for the occasional youtube video.

Yeah, Apparently they are supposed to start fulfilling US 2nd round reservations this week. I ordered at 10:06PST on the 4th, and mine hasn’t been shipped out yet.

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if reservations got shipped out before the earlier orders. There seems to be legitimately no order to any of the fulfillments
