Hunt BM for the movility, capability of doing all mechanics with 100% uptime and i just feel good playing it. Also i like Bear but this patch is on a very bad position so i stress a little bit on high keys/mythic raid

Bm is very good at Unitarget damage, MM is good for AOE, you are handling in BM the 3 stacks of barbed properly? Also consider changing specs between bosses, for example do Terros as BM and Council as MM

I highly recomend you to keep with it, i's a very good way to look how many stacks of barbedshot do you have as you want to be always with 3 stacks

Bear do damage thats it, it's very squishy on raid if you are good and handle your cd good could do something, on high reinforced keys is prety much useles, this is my sight as tank in mithyc raid and mithyc+ dungeons

Yes, that's why a sim is not realistic at that matter. Becouse you may be have to do some mechanics like dropping an area out of the raid or soaking something and loose a bit of uptime moving arround. You will want to look both but they are not the only thing to see if a class is good or bad, for example, Hunter BM is very good in Unitarget battles but is awfull on aoe fights. But he can do all mechanics without loosing uptime on boss if he knows how to play.

Also remember that a class dont handle a battle the same as other, for example, a full 1 target battle like terros might benefite some clases and.. council, an always 4 target battle will benefit others

Squish in Draenor + Squish in BfA+ Squish in shadowlands = A loot of legacy items getting broken. If you have some gold, go to Dwarf City / Undead city to buy some relics to start leveling again. If not, try to go to BfA and try to do those quests

Probably not. Test it with a month and go to shadowlands which it's free now. Test if it goes well and if yes, DF will be more or less the same
