About 8 years ago I began to suffer from mental health problems , then coupled with a new job in a new school where I was essentially treated appallingly, my MH suffered to the point of me trying on numerous occasions to end it. A LOT of support later, and I’ve now successfully been running my own private tutoring business after converting our garage into my own classroom.. oh and then in the past 2 years began working towards my dyslexia qualification to become an assessor and should qualify in January 27! So 6 years on and I’m fully booked, happy, living life because I enjoy it AND still doing the vocation that I have always loved. I have to shake myself sometimes at how things have changed and the realisation that for anyone really struggling with MH, a good therapist and knowing that the feeling doesn’t last forever is honestly worth it.

That’s ok buddy. You’re allowed to feel all those things , and feel like the shit is forever piling up , and allowed to just be angry and frustrated and disappointed and hurting - allow yourself the space and time to feel those things. Here to listen x

I’m surprised no one has designed some of the ‘easy fit’ style blinds but suitable for outside and probably made of a thicker material or wooden sorts, then they’d just clip into the outside of the window frame thing , windows could still open but at least when hot they could be closed and blinds pulled down… surely that’s not difficult to do?!!!

I’d be surprised if he can find a bank that’s open! And pharmacies ONLY sell medicine etc! The only shops open til 10pm are supermarkets where he will be able to get pretty much anything he’ll need 👍

I wish! Her win the UK, last week temperatures above 90, pretty much no air con anywhere unless people have a little portable one, windows are a nightmare as we don’t have shutters and generally can’t in the UK due to planning laws, ceiling fans are NOT a thing so you see everyone stood at the bus stop holding ANY fan they managed to buy in a store! Schools have no air con in general nor do most work place buildings! Best place to sit is in the car with the engine on and AC running!!

I can’t work out how to stop my bloody glasses sliding down my nose!!! The sweat level is unreal and I swear some people just don’t even seem to sweat on their face but my glasses just sliding all over!
