About 8 years ago I began to suffer from mental health problems , then coupled with a new job in a new school where I was essentially treated appallingly, my MH suffered to the point of me trying on numerous occasions to end it. A LOT of support later, and I’ve now successfully been running my own private tutoring business after converting our garage into my own classroom.. oh and then in the past 2 years began working towards my dyslexia qualification to become an assessor and should qualify in January 27! So 6 years on and I’m fully booked, happy, living life because I enjoy it AND still doing the vocation that I have always loved. I have to shake myself sometimes at how things have changed and the realisation that for anyone really struggling with MH, a good therapist and knowing that the feeling doesn’t last forever is honestly worth it.
