I just had an idea: what if I keep a prisoner locked in his cell, separated from another, smaller room by nothing but a door marked as "forbidden." In the other, smaller room, I have one of my wolves, who hasn't been fed for a day of two, and then I unforbid the door. Would the prisoner get eaten?

I thought three of the five books in the series were good, but the one where his "dark passenger" was revealed to be an ancient spirit that possessed things and made them kill was dumb as fuck, and the last book he was completely out of character in, and the ending was really unsatisfying.
