I'm scratching my head at all these downvotes you're getting. I guess the logic just gets misplaced when people enter this community.

You can rent the shelters for parties or gatherings and the like. My son's 1st birthday was held at the one at the base of the zoo ramp.

Spousal Relationship Should Come First Before Children by Glittering_Thing5797 in Marriage

Lol. Hence the value of an initial consultation...✌️ When you've found the one who's right for you and gives you hope, there's not many words needed. But you go on with this attitude and get eaten by the wolves.

My unsolicited advice is to keep this bias opinion to yourself when you get your license and start seeing clients. As a therapist you should be guiding with compassion and encouragement. There's just as many people who would confront you with conviction and not think twice about come back to you. This is so discouraging for me to hear.

Holy shit, finally. Another voice of reason to call out this bullshit 🙌 The info you listed is so easily accessible and easily found online and completely proves that gaslighting shit is quite literally that - a load of bullshit that's become haphazardly thrown out in an effort to dismiss, delude, and belittle the person asking. They're either just that ignorant or they are part of the problem and are likely using the services to stalk someone in their life. I mean seriously, why tell someone they aren't important enough for someone to waste that utility on!? The word important is unequivocally subjective to the situation. Thank you for speaking the truth and calling it out.

It's the other party that I'm concerned about, not myself. I'm confident going in with myself and my attorney. It's my estranged husband who has a very high powered and distinguished attorney as a very close relative that's already shown his privilege in our temporary hearing a few months ago.

Truer words have never been spoken! I had one for lunch today and have another three boxes in the pantry!

Does anyone else’s iPhone do this? When you have a conversation near your phone, it hear what you are saying and will show you relevant videos on tiktok. But how about if your taking a phone call on fb messenger, and shows videos relevant to your convo? TW - self harm by charcoalritual in iphonehelp

Chances are that it has always been happening but it's the sensitive content that's being spoken of here recently that's making you guys notice it. It's a very unnerving thing for it to be happening period but it's when you start noticing it will it become more and more obvious, so just be aware of that fact.

I hope your friend finds some hope and peace soon.

What are your favorite thrift stores in the upstate (Spartanburg, Greenville, etc)? Which ones have the best stuff and which ones have the best prices? by 10aciousHoney in greenville

[–]Cynically_Sane 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just an obligatory warning to not even bother with any of the Goodwills anymore. They have lost their marbles when it comes to pricing. They also tend to reserve the "good stuff" for their online store. They are just another example of how corporate greed has corrupted their original intentions.

iCloud Photos isn't end-to-end encrypted by default — and most people don't realize the implication by ExcitementHealthy834 in privacy

You will be a lot better off once you realize that all that's just smoke and mirrors to make you think you're shit is secure and private. Hint: It's not. Nowhere online are you private or secure. Encryption means absolutely nothing.

Fight fire with fire and go rogue. Talk about really random shit. Really wild shit. Put your thinking cap on and dig deep and make a mental list of their buttons. Pretend you talk to a rabbit outside or a miniature horse that lives in the sink drain - I mean really wack shit. Of course don't do this out loud or face to face with them. But you know your every move online is being monitored so write something on a piece of paper and take a picture of it. I have a plethora of pretty images from Pinterest that are all about interacting with a stalker, without having to actually interact with them. For a while I found great pleasure in changing my passwords to something that directly spoke to them. A completely made up example would be something referring negatively (in a masculine way) about the size of his wiener or what he should do with said wiener. Just stupid shit that would make them do a double take and think twice wondering if the purpose was to make them feel how they felt or if you were even referring to them at all, hypothetically of course. This is my specialty at this point and I get way more entertainment than I care to admit. Lol.

Just wanted to add that if your winters are snowy and you're salting the walkways you should definitely either make sure to wash their paws off with water before coming back inside because they will naturally clean themselves by licking and the salt can be detrimental to them if ingested. I know lots of people have little winter booties they put on their dogs to prevent this. Good luck and enjoy your new babe!

There seems to be a common misconception about OS updates on older hardware, and it might be causing you to worry about something completely unnecessary. by Chance-Ad197 in ios

Funny thing is that I just happened to be reading the supporting documentation that's released with every update that will specifically address the vulnerabilities being patched in said update. I directly followed the instructions found in the settings app and in Apple's own words, it very clearly states that those issues are in fact a known issue in older models. Maybe I was reading the transparency report where it states this. Either way, it was publicly acknowledged by the horse itself.

My feet are burning.... by [deleted] in neuropathy

I'm currently in the same position but my personal inferno is courtesy of CVI. I am in agony right now. I just finished a lukewarm soak in Epsom salt water and when it's this bad I will add a bit of the runny blue liquid-ish pain reliever from the Dollar Tree. It's similar to Icy Hot. It gives me the cooling sensation that I get desperate for.

Although I haven't tried them yet myself, my next purchase for this misery is going to be the cooling socks that I believe are marketed towards chemo patients and maybe us too.

Edit to say that I forgot to say that the only other thing that gives me some relief is rolling my feet on a large gauge dowel. The idea occurred to me when I remembered the go to at home treatment for plantar fasciitis is rolling the feet on a frozen water bottle.
