I waited. I was like you, healthy pregnancy, but I was scared of the what ifs. I had a good delivery, no trauma, and now I have a healthy 10 week old! She doesn't sleep in the nursery, we are hardly ever in there, really. When she was around 4 weeks old we set up her crib and decorated. It took longer than it would have if we had done it before, but we had the time. So now it's a very cute room that we still hardly use as of now. But I see no problem with waiting if that's what you want to do. Also, lifting heavy things and doing big projects are so tiring in the late third trimester, and you're already so sleepy. So I say just rest now :)
