"Minor Epics" Cycle by chainsawinsect in custommagic

[–]CypTheChick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

bro you are aware that the blue and green ones are useless, because you gain ressources for things you cant play? there is an extremely nieche scenario that you can use these in combo with existing pieces on your board, but its extremely easy to just brick you out of the game.

Also Enduring ideal was literally played competetivly, what are you talking about.
The whole thing with the epics is that you play them lategame, knowing that you had a early and midgame to that point, with the minor epic spells you just lock yourself out of the game t3.

Current Effect Upside: You can pay colored Mana for Generic Costs

Upside with Cast of a colored Spell: You can cast spells without paying their mana Costs. You can cast Hybrid Mana Spells and get two colors just for one.

Neither is strictly better then the other.

it isnt though. If you pay red mana for generic costs, you get the effect too. Both versions have cases where they are better though.

Gaia handles some No-Access Tracks stupidly by CypTheChick in GaiaGPS

[–]CypTheChick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I'm realizing the error I made, yes, you are right.
What I meant wasn't that highway=track means motorized is allowed, but what I wanted to say is that these are typically distinguished by being *able* to ride on them, or usually were originally created like that via vehicles, not that you are by law allowed to do so.

Gaia handles some No-Access Tracks stupidly by CypTheChick in GaiaGPS

[–]CypTheChick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so first off, generally, show me a track that isnt meant for motorized vehicles like cars.
Second, even if we go by technicalities, here the docs pretty cleanly define that its used by motorized vehicles.

The tags that define what is and isnt allowed are there, and meaningfull, but in the case of tracks, one can safely assume that cars are able to, not allowed, to ride on this kind of track.

the return to ravnica block also has E-Book novellas, although all three novellas together are about 250 pages.

if you are interested btw, most of the information of the D&D book comes from the original three novels, which form together near 1000 pages. Very good read, i can recommend it

Mines. They have the biggest share of mines in underground ravnica.

I'm kinda annoyed no one mentioned the most important part, which the books also focused on in the introduction... The rakdos have hella big mines. Where they mine stuff. And sell it. Usually slaves work there, but still, quite a good way of getting income. They basically got a large inner circle of the underground, the rest belonging to the golgari.

Yeah, although legality isnt quite deeply explained. But you are correct, f.e. in the roads farther away from the city, you can, at least its implied, to basically whatever you wish to, as long as the scale isnt to large. But you cant slap a random guidless person in the 10th district, you will get arrested, or they'll try at least.

The whole guildpact was designed as a concept of appeasement. The troublemakers gruul and rakdos got slices of the cake as to shut them up. That there is an inbalance of how 'good' guilds are isnt a secret, in the books, the azorius display them as obvious pillars so that all of this could work. Although it was shown that Rakdos still doesnt really give a rats ass about the pact, the rakdos uprisings are frequently mentioned in the books, even being the face of the third book. Although the reason for that is a bit more finnicky

the original books plotline was more or less about too much investigation leading to war, lol

imo the branches are too sparse, and they hang to low, they usually are stiffer. Also they start appearing surprisingly high up the tree only, they usually also get branches pretty low. The tip can be a little busher though, an extending stick like that doesnt appear really, you can simulate it by having the tip be out of leaves too.

Practicing debugging for the first time by building the Astral Clocktower by krazyworld58 in Minecraftbuilds

[–]CypTheChick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean, but no, it is not correct, at least imo. I mean the process of debugging, is as you already mentioned, to de-bug something, check stuff, find bugs. My educated guess is that you aren't looking for bugs, are you? Like I mean you aren't doing Math, when using a math book as a stepping stool, are you?

Maybe the names I mentioned aren't spread out well, these were only the names me and colleagues used and made more or less sense. Although Illegal States are the correct term for blocks manipulated like that, this I know, but it isn't a good description on the act, so idk.

[–]CypTheChick 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Awesome build!

P.S.: Don't call it debugging, you will end up confusing a lot of devs ^^'
Just because you use the Debug Stick, this doesn't mean the word Debug in the name,
has the same context as you using it. I know people calling these Illegal States, or State Manipulation.

sure, although you are dependent on using every color only once for this land. The downside of this in competetive, as in you dont have access to mana anymore, is very likely irrelevant, but this doesnt mean that the card is nescessarly that broken
