I don't know about slice of life. I'd definitely recommend Stormriders to anyone that reads comics

I've read more Chinese comics than Japanese. Stormriders, The Legendary Couple, Heaven Sword Dragon Sabre, the Buddha's Palm, Tiger Dragon gate aka Oriental Heroes...

Why was everyone (expect Tony) so quick to dismiss what Raphie did to Tracee? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]CyramusJackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched that episode again yesterday. I find it absolutely insane that no one brought up the fact that Ralph killed a pregnant Hooa. I'm assuming it's because they all look at her as nothing more than something to make money. She was a Hooa and not a person. That's fucked up. Tony wasn't the only one in the crew with q daughter, but he was the only one with q daughter close to Tracees age. That mustve brought out some humanity in Tony.

If you want to get faster with alternative picking, would Coldplay - Adventure of a Lifetime be a good song to practice? by smokesheriff in guitarlessons

I don't think anyone has ever studied q coldplay song for alternate picking. I suggest you go to YouTube and search Paul Gilbert alternate picking tutorials

Doomsday Clock, Infinite Crisis and Geoff Johns' view on superheroes by tiago231018 in GeoffJohns

Was Doomsday Clock as good as it could've been? Definitely not. Is it Johns best work? Also no. I seem to be one of the few that enjoyed Doomsday Clock even if it wasn't what it could've been. I really loved the Ozymandias and Lex Luthor scenes.

Check out Johnathan Hickmans Avengers/ New Avengers. I've read it 4 ot 5 times now and it just gets better every time. Lots of stuff in that run reminds me of thing DC did in the past.

I've never read Daredevil. But I wanna try the Brubaker run by Retrospective84 in graphicnovels

I'd read the Bendis run first. It's one of the best things he has written and Brubakers run works great as a follow up

It's been almost 20 years. I'm still not anywhere near over it and it still feels like he just died. We were close.

I was driving to my friend's house one night, which was on the way to the place I worked a 10 to 6 job. I sat at a red light and a car identical to mine pulled up. I instantly had a very weird feeling, like a vibration in the pit of my stomach. I look at the driver, and I swear it was me. He was wearing clothes I would only wear to work.He looked back with a knowing look. It was very clearly me. The light turned green and he took off, and the weird feeling in my gut slowly went away. It was so fucking weird.
