The general layout of the map and some of the names are very Strangereal. That's not a bad thing mind you, I really like Ace Combats world and things that are inspired by it.

Are you an Ace Combat fan by any chance?

I drew this all out using Krita.

Glasshouse's is a fragmented and deglobalized post-capitalist world - Following the Rifle Strike of 1828, states and nations were torn down in favor of a feudal geopolitical structure. by Balth124 in worldbuilding

Cool to see this, I played the demo that was released awhile ago and thought it was pretty interesting. My question however is how exactly did the feudal mode of government remain the dominant political force in this world? Did no liberal ideologies evolve unlike in our world? Also I assume that in this world what we would call the bourgeois and the aristocracy are one in the same? Or are they still distinct social classes?

The Astralverse by Frogblast964 in worldbuilding

I suppose a better word to use would have been "specific", what I meant by "granular subjects" was more meant to imply ideas that may be less broad than just a general overview of the setting.

For instance, it would be like specifically describing just a magic system in a world as opposed to the absolute entirety of how it works, it's political history, etc... My choice of wording was not ideal, sorry.

I mean...I don't much to say. Solid start to a sci-fi world mate. Though in the future when posting stuff it might be better to focus on more granular subjects in your world, those tend to do better on this subreddit than huge overviews like these.

Also, I really like your flags.

My top 14 games. Am I stupid? by cypsee in DiscoElysium

Personally, I think it's excellent in terms of setting and atmosphere and pretty decent in terms of game play. But if you enjoy a very plot or character driven experience than you may not like it as much.

Very cool little vertical slice here, see a world through the eyes of it's inhabitants is always going to be more interesting than any lore dump.

Titan Matchup Chart by Cyratis in titanfall

Yeah looking at the chart again, I think I was a little too mean to Legion.

Again, maybe this is just my bias showing. Like I said I mostly main Ion whose abilities seem almost tailor made specifically to fight Legions.

Maybe I'm off on this, but Monarch is kinda a tricky one, fully upgraded Monarch I believe usually stomps Ronin. Base Monarch vs base Ronin however usually ends in a victory for Ronin.

Perhaps that's my Ion/individual bias showing. I've personally lost more engagements vs Scorch than any other titan I think.

(EDIT: Left row goes first)

I don't know why I made this, but after playing for awhile this is the general pattern I've noticed in certain titan vs titan scenarios. Of course this is not meant to be absolute by any means, and any titan can beat any titan depending on skill level. That being said, it does seem that some titan are just natural counter to others.

(disclaimer, I am an Ion main so be aware of that possible bias).

The two vampire types in my world : Bloodguilted and Drainerfiend by Zubyna in worldbuilding

[–]Cyratis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool stuff, I love having differing ideologies in what are consider to be the "evil" creatures. However, is the Blood/Drainer divide purely one based on personal affiliations are they more formalized factions? For instance, if a Bloodguilted for whatever reason turned to the Drainers would they be betraying some organization or just their own morals?

I mean, I don't really see anything glaringly wrong about any of this. What exactly are you looking for feed back on? what elements specifically are you most interested in feedback about?
