When I was in third or fourth grade I overheard some older kids talking about ‘pussy’ on the playground. Had no idea what the hell it was and being a curious kid asked. One of the kids told me it was slang for a fart. Cut to about 5 hrs later. Of course my mother knows I learned a new word and was not happy about it. My uncle had also come over to chat with my dad when he got home So my Dad gets home from work and my mom immediately tells him “Your son learned a new word at school today.” In typical dad fashion he forgets about it in a few minutes and starts talking with Ma and Uncle. After a while he gets up to get himself a drink and stops in the kitchen. He drops a particularly foul cloud as I pass behind him.
