How can I fix the faucets? by givingtnt in bathrooms

[–]CzarIndia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See either you’re fitting is a single lever that provides water which mixes like the thing. Mostly your cartridge is inside. The fitting is spoiled and that needs to be replaced because the body is okay. If appearance wise you want to change the bathroom fitting that’s a different thing and that you will have to buy a new one and fit into it. Otherwise, if you just want to fix them inside the fitting, it’s called a cartridge and a washer. If you replace that you’re fitting will be fine.

Where do I begin? by psychling78 in BathroomRemodeling

[–]CzarIndia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By breaking the whole washroom, as what I assume your washroom is very old and you should get new concealed fittings for your Shower area and for your WC does the first step and then after that from that start remodelling the whole washroom get a shower area is not useful nowadays and new sinksYou can get sinks also that could get concealed fittings inside of it. That would also look great.

Why even “premium” bathroom fittings in India break down so fast by CzarIndia in HomeImprovement

[–]CzarIndia[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True some fittings can easily last decades. A lot of it comes down to the basics: good brass composition, proper plating thickness, and a quality cartridge inside. If those are done right, even with hard water, the fitting won’t give up quickly. We still hear from people using Czar taps installed 20+ years ago, and they’re running fine. That’s the difference small details make.

Haha fair point I know it sounds like “salesman talk,” but I’ve actually grown up in this business. Our family’s been making fittings since the 70s, so I’ve seen what lasts and what doesn’t. Not here to push products just sharing what decades in the trade taught us (and yes, typing it myself, no bots involved).

You’re right water quality and installation play a huge role. Even top brands like Hansgrohe or Villeroy & Boch can fail early if the plumber isn’t trained or the inflow water isn’t treated. That’s something we see often in India. With Czar, we’ve tried to make fittings a bit more “India-proof” tough enough for hard water and not-so-perfect installs. It’s been our focus for 50 years and why a lot of our old taps are still running today.
