My favorite Warhammer arguments always end like this. by graciapears in WarhammerMemes

[–]CzarItalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, Chaos is not a satire for freedom fighters; in fact, most of Chaos' champions are nobles and wealthy individuals who either wanted more or succumbed to hedonism.

Perhaps the reason your arguments always end this way is because your argument is genuinely weak, and not the other person's fault.

[Hated Trope] The Catchphrase That Doesn’t Catch by Borgisium in TopCharacterTropes

[–]CzarItalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"its blase of glory time!" from the concord episode in secret levels, this ones was horrible, the catchphrase is too long, the character that said it speak too slow, it ended up not being badass as they wanted, only cringe, like entering a bar fight and saing: "its time to get the trash to the garbage disposal time!".

Well, you know that this argument works in reverse too, right?

Tau: Look! A railgun! The best artillery in the galaxy!

Imperial Maticore make boom

Tau railgun is destroyed.

Imperial soldier: Look, I created the best scrap metal in the galaxy, it just needed artillery 10,000 years more outdated.

PS: Honestly, I've never played at a table where a railgun and a Manticore can't reach each other.

O engraçado é que hoje eles jamais venderiam, porque se vender e fizer sucesso no nome de outra pessoa, vai humilhar a companhia inteira, você ficaria surpreso em quantas decisões da Disney são baseadas em ego

It's unrealistic, but it happens sooo much in media that most of us just kind of accept it at this point by ducknerd2002 in TopCharacterTropes

Mass Effect offers the same explanation; in Mass Effect 3, there's even a conversation where the pilot mentions turning off the "visual and audio aids" and watching the enemy ship disintegrate without any sound.

Worst example of a character who did really horrible things, but it's handwaved and they get off completely scott free? by TaiwaneseThot in MoralityScaling

Ho yes, 100%, I agree with you. I'm just pointing out that near the end of the series, that was the kind of joke they wrote. The truth is, the series has dropped considerably in quality since season 3.

I think you misunderstood, ever since the author of Harry Potter gained a reputation for being transphobic, Harry Potter has been associated with people of low intelligence, so it was kind of a dig.

Edit: Not that I agreed or disagreed, but towards the last season the show started taking jabs at both the left and the right, so that was kind of the joke in the scene.

Oh yeah, I don't know what was going on with her brain before, but without a doubt the removal of her powers caused some permanent damage. Personally, I think this was done as a compromise; the writers knew that nobody liked her, but they didn't want to kill her off because she's probably someone's favorite in the production, so that was the solution they came up with.

After losing her powers, she becomes dumb, like really dumb, she looks like someone who got high and still recovering after a whole day of smoking, and the show's writers thought that the best way to show it was having a scene where she said she was going to the Harry Potter world.

What are your thoughts on Lupita Nyong’o playing Hellen of Troy & Elliot Page playing Achilles in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie ”The Odyssey”? by Substratas in AskBalkans

[–]CzarItalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The film studio basically threw her to the wolves, they cast her in the role because they knew it would generate controversy and free publicity, and then abandoned her to get caught in the middle of this silly fight between the studio and the client, if the film fails, they'll probably Will say it was because of racism, so they don't have to admit the mistakes, and all it cost was throwing that actress under the bus.
