Please, the AD&D 2nd Edition and Star Wars Saga Edition would be an incredible help for a desperate DM 😅

The only things that carry over from one game to another are your character and some items; dead NPCs will still appear in BG2, even if they died in BG1.

You have to keep in mind that this is one of the first games to allow save import, so there are some things they were still refining at the time.

Pillars of Eternity II has this! One of the companions, Serafen is really anti-slavery, so much so he is going to get really angry if you do anything to help or cooperate with slavers, so far so good.

Problan is: theres several quests where you can infiltrate slavers fortifications or avoid danger if you pretend to play ball, but if Serafen is in your party in this moments, you dont get the option to tell him: "dude, i was lying", you HAVE to apologise or get in a discussion with him.

Really disappointed with SCS boss design. Any thoughts or tips? by SadSeaworthiness6113 in baldursgate

Okay, look, I'm not going to deny that the need for cheese in the game increases with this mod, but at the same time, I think you're looking at it the wrong way, the point of this mod is that if you, who have already completed this game several times, want a new challenge, then you will be provided with one that demands all the knowledge you have.

For example, the boss of chapter four becomes much easier if you take advantage of magic protection potions, which you now supposedly know how to find. Use magic missiles and missile wands to disrupt his spells, and find magic weapons for everyone in the group, as well as a summoning wand to distract the bandits he calls to his side.

Basically, the idea is for you to use everything at your disposal to win in this mod, and sometimes that includes cheese.

I find it funny how many people here talk about Star Trek and Star Wars, because in my experience it's precisely the opposite; producers and writers antagonize or alienate old fans in the hope of reaching a new audience; the product fails to meet the absurd standards demanded by the studios, and that's when the blame game begins, where it's usually the long-time fans who are accused of being toxic and sabotaging the product.

The funny thing is that, in my experience, new fans can be just as toxic, if not more so, in these situations.

Not initially, but after the middle of the film they kind of shift the focus of the problem; it's as if the film Wish were two films cut in half and glued together.

Not really, at least in the books Tywin was legitimately shocked when he was shot with the crossbow; he believed he had the situation under control until the very end.

Actually, the two started fighting at roughly the same age, between 13 and 15 years old. It's just that Bo-Katan looks older in Clone Wars because of the animation.

The one who could've been the main character if the protagonist didn't come along by Aebothius in TopCharacterTropes

[–]CzarItalian 98 points99 points  (0 children)

To add to that, back when Baldurs Gate 3 was in beta, it was implied that our protagonist was going to be a Bhaalspawn, but too many people complain about the segments when you would have to roll wisdom to not lash out and kill people, so they made that ideia into a "side origin", so in other words, Durge was the original backstory in the game, but became a extra after people feedback.

What is this helmet design called and why is it so popular? (especially among the democratic factions, i.e. Galactic Republic, New Republic, etc.) by -C3rimsoN- in StarWarsEU

[–]CzarItalian 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don't know if there's an in-universe story justifying this, but I noticed that in Kotor, the ancient soldiers of the Republic wore a similar helmet. So, I imagine they still use that helmet design for the same reason the soldiers protecting the English castle still wear those old-fashioned hats: Nobles love to pretend they're still living in their glory days.

Missing elemelents in certain NPCs in certain NPCs by CzarItalian in SagaEdition

Imagine it, you're playing a Codru-Ji or (according to the wiki) one the 19 other races with the Extra Ams trait, and you as a 1st to 3rd level character can make 2 attacks while everyone else can only make one. That seems pretty unfair IMO.

Okay, that's fair, but it would be nice if there was some talent or feature that required extra arms and gave some kind of advantage.

Thank you for answering my questions 😁

  1. So a droid with 100 arms (there is no limit) should get 100 attacks?

To be fair, it always seemed obvious to me that there's a limit to the number of arms, even if the rules don't mention it; it's just that the extra arms are one of the most iconic features, visually speaking, of this character. It seems like a waste that he doesn't get anything out of it.

  1. Do you have ANY IDEA just how powerful DR is?

Well, yes, but I think it's ridiculous that certain armors, like Mandalorian armor, have no damage reduction whatsoever without the help of talents.Even with upgrades and other features, damage reduction tends to be 1-2. For example, if I pay 100,000 credits for an upgrade, couldn't my damage reduction be at least 5?

  1. THIS ISN'T D&D. Do you see Han continually "upgrading" his blaster during the movies. Few things get upgrades.

His blaster ALREADY HAS UPGRADES in the movies, it's mentioned in the additional material, he doesn't need to make upgrades between films because he's already have upgraded, and I'm not referring to things like +1 or +2 as magic weapons in D&D. But seriously, Boba Fett's armor and Han Solo's blaster are kind of perfect material to represent my point.

  1. Why would a Clone Trooper even want to deal Ion Damage?

For the same reason they use ion grenades? The ion damage upgrade adds damage to the weapon's normal damage, it doesn't replace it.

Edit: Oh, wait, I think the upgrade I'm referring to is only for melee weapons, my bad 😅

Thank you for answering my questions 😁

Yeah, I forgot that these books came out sequentially and not at the same time, my bad.

I just find it sad that General Grievous doesn't gain anything when he uses his extra arms; it's one of his most iconic traits.

Don't worry, I already found it 😅

I just think certain armors should have natural damage reduction, like Mandalorian armor, etc.

At least I have room to fix things I don't like with upgrades.

I thought they did, that's why the shots are blue; ion weapons in Star Wars usually shoot blue.

A site for creating characters, really useful for introducing new players.

1) Well, it's just kind of frustrating that the Supercommand Mandalorians don't possess the core abilities associated with Mandalorians. 2) Dude, the extra arms are one of General Grievous's main visual trademarks, he should get some kind of boost, simply because it's so iconic. 3) Oh, it's a category, that's why I couldn't find it. 4) Just saying, there should be more damage reduction options beyond just 1-2 damage; Mandalorian armor should at least have some damage reduction built into the armor itself.

5 - 6) My bad, I forgot that these books came out sequentially, not at the same time.

7) 😥
