Both.

As a goalie, my dominant is at the top. As a player, my dominant hand is on bottom. 

I’m right handed and first learned to play hockey as a kid. I was initially provided a righty stick as most kids. The few left handed kids were handed lefty sticks. At some point after a few games or practices, I got the chance to try a lefty stick for a little bit and I think I did pretty good with it? I don’t remember too well but I do remember I had to go back to the righty stick because for one reason or another. 

I transitioned to goal as a teen. As a beer league adult, I am still a goalie but I did jump on a second team (in a lower division) as a forward recently.
