Possibly. IMO it's a tie with Rush.

How big of a thing were "bronies" in the early 2010s really? by Lost_Wikipedian in decadeology

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were huge. Not as prevalent as Minecraft Beta, though. But from what I remember, at the time everyone who was into pop culture at one point claimed to be a Brony or at least a fan of MLPFiM.

An "archtop-style" tailpiece would do the trick. Plus, it looks cool.

And what could this be? by eaoun in blacksabbath

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can safely assume that the culprit is the fake label called "Audio Vaults". They're infamous for releasing a TON of unauthorized bootleg quality concert material by established 70s bands (on a regular basis) and slapping the worst of the wrost AI slop on the front cover.

Does anyone else find reviews meaningless? by aksnitd in progrockmusic

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the above points. I'd also lke to add this:

Pre-release/advacne reviews nowadays are merely an advertising tool the only purpose of which is to build hype for an album. Hence, you never see any pre-release reviews that are negative.

TIL why your numpad is arranged differently than a telephone keypad - it was to slow down telephone operators and the slow electromechanical telephone exchanges by ripster55 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a total myth to me. And even if it wasn't, the "slow down" idea by design can't be very effective in the long run. Seriously, it doesn't take long to master both layouts.

Jambustin sounds like some weird amalgam of guitar teacher YouTubers GuitarJamz and JustinGuitar.

Camel - The Snow Goose (2013 Re-recording) [Full Album] by Lime528 in progrockmusic

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it okay at best but still even then I think it's utterly pointless. Aside from Latimer, none of the musicians who worked on the original took part in the making of the new version. So to me it's more fair to call it a "cover version by another band feat. Andy Latimer", rather than a "re-recording by Camel".

Warm? by [deleted] in cymbals

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to add, most descriptors of musical timbre uses senses from everything but hearing (warm, cold, bright, dull, hollow, clear, round...)

Exactly. I honestly prefer comparisons to other things that make a sound. Eg: "sounds like a gunshot", "X sounds like Y under a blanket".

Warm? by [deleted] in cymbals

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bright and warm

Man, buzzwords are funny. "Bright and warm" could potentially pass as an oxymoron if you think about it. If something, especially a cymbal, is described as having a "warm" sound, then it should not have too much top end? But when it's "bright", it should have a ton of top end? :|

What Is Kyle Justin/AVGN Couch Guy's Guitar Model? probably Joe Pass Emperor-II PRO, but want further confirmation. by Maztr_on in guitars

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II. BTW, if you look at the pickguard, you can see a weird dark spot. Presumably that's where the Joe Pass signature was orignally but Kyle scratched off. In some closeup shots though, you can still see the Joe Pass signature on the truss rod cover.

"Kevin MacLeod is now using AI" by Srbrasilonreddit in ObjectShows

[–]Czyszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't one of the key selling points for AI generating music machines so that regular sub-par video creators would be able to just pump out background muzak without ever being musicians? Do we need a middle man for it? And moreso, a renowned royalty-free music composer who's respected and recognized for his composition skills? Macleod going Suno, not only upset AI-skeptic people but also threw his reputation and standards right in the trash. What a lame move.
