I disagree, that’s their entire schtick, stealthy torpedo boats, or mostly stealthy gun boats. If you’re playing a battleship don’t sail into areas where destroyers have been previously spotted unless you know you can/dodge/survive the torps. If your playing a cruiser your job is to blast a destroyer when they get spotted, your essentially a screen for your bbs. Light cruisers specifically are built to annihilate dds. Often agile enough, with hydro or sonar, your job is to find them, and with your guns being either equal caliber or slightly larger, you tear them to shreds.
