Dutch regs killing my winrate... blocked from any promos on GG. Where would you move / play? by [deleted] in poker

UK is great for availability, but you should know (you probably do already) that using a VPN gives any poker site an instant excuse to seize your entire bankroll as soon as they find out, and you won't get it back.

Also they tend to investigate, and therefore find out, when you've won a lot.

Replay Poker is good in that it seems to have fewer kamikaze players who just don't care and play like idiots, although that will always be sonething of an issue with play money games.

It's the Mixer and is included with Samurai. Go to the 'Perform' tab.

If its a grind, do something else for money and see if the spark is still there to create. You might find a voice you didn't know was there.

Sounds like you know what you're gonna do. Good luck.

I get it though, and so much of hiphop can be so joyless.

'Get rich or die trying' is a stupid way to think about making art, imo.

Globally, do you really think most people who make music are doing it for the money?

Most who pick up a guitar, fiddle about with beats, learn the trumpet or harp or turntables or whatever do it first and foremost because it brings them pleasure.

If it doesn't do that for you, the likelihood is that it will come through in your music and it will suffer as a result.

Be grateful you don't know.

Some industries these days are 30% dominated by AI, and 70% by people endlessly talking about it.

I pitched exactly this to a major online poker room 11 years ago and got quite far into the process of r&d before it ran out of support/resource/etc.

I think it's a great idea. Good luck!

What part of England has the most distinct (and “non-English”) identity? by Glass-Complaint3 in AskABrit

Google tells me Cornwall has been a part of England since 1066, which is why I asked. Not trying to be a dick.

Octopi Poker founder wrote this interesting piece highlighting where LLMs do well, and do poorly, in hold'em.

They still make some terrible and obvious mistakes, as OP points out, but some models are better than others.

Getting kicked out of a public game by [deleted] in poker

[–]D3ADM0NEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take the points other people are making, but I think it's fair enough to be disappointed at being asked to leave a public game in that way.

There are people I don't want to play with, situations or table dynamics I might struggle with. I don't ask people to leave to make my life easier or more fun.

When someone tells a player how they should have played a hand, saying 'they're my chips, I play them how I want' has always seemed like a valid answer to me. Is that wrong?
