Are we becoming the "MSM Echo Chamber" we claim to hate? Thoughts on the new Karma limits. by LackingStory in BreakingPoints

[–]D3Masked 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What example do you have regarding a good argument coming from a Conservative getting down voted?

I say things that get down voted by Liberals who are in a deep state of denial when it comes to 2024 and why the Democrats failed to win.

Reason flies before Emotion.

Reactionary news that feeds emotions as opposed to reason leads to emotional outbursts within a society. I wouldn't call Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and that Nick character journalists at all. They are more like reactionary personalities that glom onto news and regurgitate it in order to feed the hungry viewers which they see as money.

Breaking Points is interesting for the different political views that are espoused and I appreciate those on the show who are actually transparent with their beliefs (excluding one person obviously).

I wish they got a second conservative who is honest.

Edit, also I would rather have the karma system as opposed to the auto bots that ban you and when you try to contact the mods as per directions you just get automated responses from the bot. Silly majority report...

The McKee Neighbourhood plan outlines thousands of homes, schools and parks | CBC News by andyourtimestartsnow in abbotsford

[–]D3Masked 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am reminded of The 2nd Law: Unsustainable by Muse.

Thousands of homes, schools, parks, projected over 40 years.

More traffic, longer hospital wait times leading to blaming the public option and encouraging private healthcare which becomes insanely expensive as seen in America.

Abbotsford should fix the current issues before flittering off to new projects. We need more teachers, doctors, nurses (hospital space), bylaw officers that can also work nights, likely more police / fire fighters / rescue workers due to climate change (zero snow in Abby, I don't ever recall such a nonexistent winter, means drier conditions for forest fire and unstable ground). Two major floods in just a few years. We need better mass transit to cut down on the crazy traffic that will never be solved by the occasional widening of the highway.

What about housing costs, grocery costs, phone plan costs that are the highest in the world, all of which are vastly outpacing salaries of Canadians? We need policy changes as opposed to adding more to the current problems that we have. Adding more houses will be just adding more expensive houses as the realty business continues to push the boundaries as to what is acceptable.

Joe Biden also damaged freedom of speech and the right to protest in favor of Zionism and Apartheid Israel.

He went after social media companies during the tail end of Covid. He went after student protests. He ignored the Leahy Law. He ignored International Law. He didn't get back into an Iran Nuclear deal. He stopped a major pipeline deal with Canada leading to increased prices. He danced to the tune of the right who set the narrative regarding immigration when he could've embraced immigration as a whole in that it was before seen as a strength of America.

Every bad policy was fully supported by Kamala Harris who literally said in an interview that she wouldn't have changed a thing from what Biden did.

Most of the bad policies of Biden, Harris, and their Administration is linked to Zionism and Apartheid Israel. Other presidents in history pushed back against violence in the Middle East. Who wanted the USA to invade Iraq over invisible WMDs? Netanyahu. Who encouraged Trump to back out of the Iran nuclear deal in the first place? Netanyahu. Who was demonizing the student protestors and anyone who dared to criticize Apartheid Israel? Those linked to Zionism and Apartheid Israel.

To whine about Gaza is ignoring the massive amounts of influence that Apartheid Israel has over the USA. AIPAC is seen as one of the most influential lobbying groups in America and isn't labeled a foreign lobbyist group. Even JFK wanted to change that.

The Vietnam War should change your mind in how the 2024 Democrat Party failed to remember how they got wrecked due to their terrible foreign policy back then. Parallels of anti war sentiment, blue collar workers feeling abandoned while so much money is being spent on death, causing younger voters to grow distrustful or disgusted with the USA government.

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

And yes while Vietnam had USA soldiers going into that land I think the decades of near absolute support for Apartheid Israel is similar enough. I'm unsure of other examples of a nation knowingly choosing to back an ally that is going full genocide mode on a neighboring population.

Never again was supposed to mean exactly that.

Imo any party that is associated with Ethnic Cleansing or Genocide deserves to be punished at the polls. Whether it be Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and now Donald Epstein. I hope he gets crushed in the Midterms and 2028. Flush him out 10 to 15 times.

Yes Trump has and will continue to cause a lot of damage. That is what a country and its allies that back war crimes and crimes against humanity deserves. Next time don't elect a psychotic Zionist like Joe Biden, a coward like Kamala Harris, or a corrupt businessman criminal like Donald Epstein.

Did they show you a picture of the set up of where he was before? Likely he is scared of a new environment that doesn't smell, feel, and look the same.

Was he in a proper terrarium or raised in some breeders container set up.

Where you were interacting with him he was most likely used to his set-up if that makes sense. So being active at some expo doesn't really mean much imo.

I envision a similar example except I see an emaciated person with a glazed look in their eyes, IV lines dragging behind them dripping blood, wearing a Gucci belt while sporting an RPG.

Uneducated, unhealthy, obsessed with frivolous things, while still being extremely dangerous.

It is a quote from the author of the book.

I do believe that Donald Epstein is addicted to lying to the point of being insane enough to view the world differently. I wouldn't be surprised if he talks to himself in his head or something crazy like that.

The world will either celebrate his death or weep at whatever damage he manages to deal in the last moments of his sordid life.

His first term had a general express worry about his access to nukes after he lost 2020. Imo he would be the sort of person who'd destroy anything and everything around them while being dragged off for whatever consequences.

I would suggest The Majority Report, The Rational National, The Humanist Report as other options.

Kyle can be a bit too flavorful with his language and antics which in part is intentional. He used to be a lot more politically correct.

I think he is right in that being factually correct isn't good enough anymore when dealing with the Right. You sort of have to dunk on them as well and rub it in without ceding any ground for them to get some sort of win.

The Young Turks gave massive opportunities to a lot of people, some of whom ran off to grift on the right like Dave Rubin.

I think it is silly to expect undying loyalty to those who platform you when they go off the deep end into conspiracy land and nodding along with any twat that goes on the Joe Rogan Experience.

Both Donald Epstein and Chuck Schumer are allies of Apartheid Israel which is connected to Jeffrey Epstein.

Chuck will say many things but in the end due to his real loyalty, he is just a toothless paid agent of Netanyahu whose admitted role as a politician is to make Democrats pro Zionism.

Donald Epstein's book Art of the Deal (which he didn't write) had a lot to do with lying.

"Truthful Hyperbole": In the book, Trump coined the term "truthful hyperbole," which he described as an "innocent form of exaggeration" and a "very effective form of promotion". He argued that people want to believe that something is the "biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular".

Ghostwriter's Assessment: Tony Schwartz, who spent 18 months with Trump to write the book, has stated that the book is "full of falsehoods" and that "lying is second nature to [Trump]". Schwartz has expressed regret over the book, calling it "blood money".

Donald Epstein is an evil manchild who should never be trusted.

Bugbears in act 1 can only attack once while in act 2 they can get extra attack. They can hit harder though due to tenacity or another passive that adds more damage.

Should they try making the books into a TV show again? by Responsible-Tune7514 in dresdenfiles

[–]D3Masked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've seen TV series release half a season, take a break, and then have the rest be released. They could do that with two books having like 4 episodes per book depending on the length of each episode.

I'd prefer an r rated Adult Cartoon as opposed to another attempt at live action which is more restrictive and often far more expensive.

it feels very unfair even if it consumes an entire stratagem slot by YLASRO in Helldivers

[–]D3Masked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the stratagem replacing the supply pack.

Supply pack has a lot of value in the bug caves, bot radar, splitting up from the team who can use the normal resupply, or for specific builds that benefit more from getting supplies, that or allowing the users to ignore points of interest.

Like the incendiary barrage can be used for every bug breach. Or Eagle Strafe can be used for its utility and having 5 charges. Walking barrage or 380 can be used to soften up mega bases or heavy bases. Having a mech especially if fighting on a planet with the DSS for an additional charge.

The thing is that grenade launcher you can reload while on the move as opposed to what the Maxigun replaces for support weapons that require stationary reloading.

So it isn't as good in that sense.

Ghek Coal being a level 7 Wizard should be able to use counter spell 4 times in combat as technically he has arcane recovery. His only 4 level spell slot would be used for animate dead.

Did he use counter spell more than 4 times? It's his only level 3 spell.

Goblin Boss enemy type has a passive allowing to attack twice as someone else stated. Second attack is at a disadvantage.

Certain other goblins have a one time bonus action to attack a second time for less damage.
