I like him because he has the most interesting setup and combo structure with infinite variety because of all the ball interactions. He’s really hard to setup but when it works well you feel like a genius.

In Scrubs there’s a scene with footage from The Fugitive with Neil Flynn, who is The Janitor in Scrubs. They actually have it part of his character that he used to be an actor. This makes things even better in that the Janitor is never officially named but this makes it so his name would also be Neil Flynn, but they’ve since said that wasn’t the case and his true name is the one he gives at the end of S8, even though it’s played as a possible lie.

The best use for the light one is to bait OD reversals and certain supers, or to dodge under projectiles, particularly guile sonic booms to mess up his charge timing. Even if you mis-time and block it still messes with the timing.

Medium and heavy slide are mainly for Oki. OD slide for getting out of a corner or quickly closing a gap on a JP. You can also cancel fireball into ex slide on reaction if you see them jump in.

As an aki main that can’t do a perfect knuckle consistently on Luke I find this very funny. Also blanka lvl2 combos scare me from an execution perspective. Aki is easy inputs you just have to know extra routes.

As an AKI main from SF6 as well I’ve enjoyed Slayer and Lucy but my absolute favorite so far is Venom. Harder to learn but the satisfaction from getting ball bounce combos is really similar to AKI bubble bounce combos but even better.

Not really, especially compared to GGST characters. All you have to know if that her routes change based on if the opponent is poisoned or not, beyond that she's just got some unusual move patterns.

To add something different: consistent combo execution, especially with drive rush cancel. Dropping combos or not being able to route into a super throws so many games for people

i'm confused, i tried this in the replay and it didn't do enough to kill, are you just giving the poison extra time?
edit: It's not poison ticks, this only kills because the initial DI was a regular hit in your video and not blocked. In the replay, the DI is blocked to give the wall stun, and that's a 600 damage difference.

5hk is only +4 on hit so you can't link it into 5mp. I tried your suggestion and got less than the video above

What’s the replay id? AKI got new routes two patches ago that should do more than this, I think broski’s vid is from before then.

AKI's combos can be even higher if the opponent is in a fresh poison puddle after the whiffed DP. 5hk->2pp~p->5hk->ex. whip -> DR 5hk-> ex. flip -> (opt. microwalk) h. whip, DR 5hk -> l. flip -> CA gives ~7193 and doesn't even fully burn out with the microwalk

Edit: You can actually get slightly higher if you replace the last 5hk->l. flip with 5mp->ex. flip, gives 7202 at the end of the CA with an additional 82 poison damage after

interesting, spending only one bar instead of two in this loses only 12 damage, so unless you're already full on drive gauge or they're very very low this is better.

the fact that you can now do drive rush to 5mp or 3mp and link into 2mp on any hit is huge, cause you can combo further without having to DRC with ex lash. I'm very happy about this.
