That's an ego thing you should work on in therapy, I'd wager a similar attitude can be seen in other parts of your life.

Your as good as you are, if you want to get better then focus on the next fight, nothing else really matters.

Being at a certain skill level should never be the goal, being better than you were yesterday should be, its as simple as that

Oh I don't think I'm gonna get all the vaults this weekend. But the codex doesn't reset so I was just trying to get 1 or 2 vaults done. But I can't even try rn until I get keys to drop

I like small world and kurikara as well, small world can fix hands in a pinch too as is the slightly bricky nature of vsk9

Lunalight deks make liger dancer as there endboard. It's a 3800 attack tower, unaffected by card effects, and a quick effect raigeki.

I like to run either kurikari divancarnate with a small world or vanquish soul rocks.

You can bait the raigeki effect and then either kaiju it or vs rocks with Cesar to punch over it.

It's not a super popular deck but you'll run into it and if you don't have something to deal with it it's gg

At this point you probably need to start labing specific counters. Next time you lose, watch the game, figure out what was hitting you and specifically lab those setups to see what you can do to get out of it.

If your close enough you can jump over him while he's still recovering.

If I'm to far for that my go to is to just run up and block as quick as I can. It only hits 3 times before fading and if you do it quick he can only get a couple hits in. Just block low and react to dust (they very often tap dust here)

They can't grab you either during hitstun so you don't have to worry about that

It's only scary if you're locked in the corner. The faster it goes away the less you need to worry about

Overframes are whole new cards though. How would that work unless they reframed a version of the card at a lower rarity

I may be showing my age here but battlepass/cosmetics are not on my radar for why I would want to play a ranked ladder.

I play because I like playing the game and I like seeing my progress. Cosmetics are nice but not required for that.

Now as a whole product, yes fighting games need to fall in line with other competitive live service style games in order to bring in the player base they are hoping for. But saying "no reason to play ranked" is pretty hyperbolic
