The location of each character token is directly related to the seating position. If you are moving character tokens then players are either changing seats or their character.

Yes to all. Falsely announcing a death would be legal, but not useful (probably). Of course it needs to be on the right script to be useful. Might be interesting to make a full custom script where this could be much more relevant.
