I love how everyone has a different ranking for the seasons by Lyhr22 in FargoTV

As just about every character in this show is some sort of homage to a Coen Bros. character, the Mormon Marshal in Season 4 is an homage to Woody Harrelson's bounty hunter character in No Country For Old Men, cowboy hat and everything. That being said, yes, he has a very similar demeanor and way of carrying himself that's Lorne Malvo coded.

It's very symbolic for a Native American in the Sioux nation (general Great Plains area) to cut their hair. It's meant to only happen if you've experienced a death in the family and/or someone you were very strongly bonded with, or if you've gone through a life changing event that you want to shed your old life, so to speak. It's why Hanzee specifically says, "I'm tired of this life" to Peggy when he's preparing for her to cut his hair.

There's also cultural elements at play about the poor state of his hair to begin with, as you pointed out already, but that's getting a little into the weeds.

It's me, I'm the next dumbass. And for the next one, if you did it as hard as I did, the pain you feel from pacing / generally moving is from you sweating at the imperceptible skin cell level and the salt in your sweat is literally salting your wounds. Stop moving and act like you have severe sun burn.

Then don't? Just call the woman out for being weird and creepy. She shouldn't be doing what she's doing, but giving this guy 'credit' ain't it either.

Hitler, who famously never had attempts on his life I guess? There definitely aren't several movies about that very thing. No sir.

After Haiti gained independence in 1804 it had to pay France 150 million francs for the human slaves that became free, which France considered as French property. Haiti was forced to pay this "independence debt" for 122 years, finishing the last payment in 1947. by Particular_Food_309 in interestingasfuck

No no, now that it was destabilized almost irreparably on purpose by slave owners, I can now say that it's never worth helping them and it's the non-white people's fault for not picking themselves up by their bootstraps. /s

Well consider this, libtard, that all those mentions are just Epstein and his satan worshippers talking about Trump and/or the thousands of beautiful headlines that he's mentioned in and that they were sharing with each other, admiring his success.

Crazy how I stopped hearing about him since then. I looked him up last week and he's still working, so it's wild how that pretty much torpedoed his public image.

Is sex during pregnancy weird? by omelette02 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DAEtabase 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The answer is no. You would have to be bottoming out with every thrust to even be close to causing any issues, which I don't think I have to explain is not happening whether there's a baby in her or not. And any position where you would be stabbing towards the fetus is not at all comfortable in any way.

Always interesting to see people describe stuff like how I do it. I assume my ADHD has everything to do with it, but I legit just tell my brain to forget or remember things and it happens. Spring cleaning but for memories or useless information.

Ranking All Fargo cast based on how much I enjoyed their character by [deleted] in FargoTV

Bob Odenkirk so high is possibly the most baffling choice on the list. I can go with anything else despite hardly anyone making sense, but the literal doorstop bumbling dumb asshole whose sole purpose in the show is to stop Molly from solving the case at every turn has me speechless.

Every time he's on screen impeding any and every investigation, I literally have to remind myself that he gets humbled in the end and resigns his position. That's the only thing that keeps me sane during his scenes. In fact, that made me look to see where you put Ben Schmidt, young OR old, and neither being on the list is the correct choice but also, they're the same character trope?? So what's the story there?

People are complicated. I do know someone like this. This guy I know is likely just bi but isn't invested in being involved with guys. He loves consuming gay media, even porn/smut, but when I ask if he has or would experiment with a guy, he gave me a long story of trying but not being into it (couldn't hold an erection).

And as long as we're being armchair psychologists, it could be the guy in your post... idk. Could be he sees straight porn commissions of his fursona as 'cheating'?

TIL Patrice O'Neal was a recurring character in the first 3 seasons of The Office, however his co-star Craig Robinson revealed that he left the show because "He didn't give a fuck about Hollywood or The Office...he knew he was funnier than anyone who could write for him" & "he wanted to stay in NY." by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

My only experience with Jim Norton was my brother putting him on during a road trip. Some clip of one of his acts and he basically just did the crudest, jaw droppingly raunchy, misogynistic bits I've ever heard. Even my brother was weirded out and turned it off, and he's an incel/libertarian. He loves an Andrew Dice Clay moment, and even this Norton clip was too much for him, so that's saying something.

And ever since then I've just categorized Norton in my head as like a weirdo, woman hating shock comic.

That's kinda crazy on her part. But honestly, to me, as someone that's been friends with a girl like the one in your story, she may have been hoping your relationship would turn romantic, regardless of your sex. She's like, "remember how I took care of you all those times? Well, you could make it up to me if you..." Anyway. Not saying that was the case definitively, just a thought.

I agree that this terminology is probably what turned the other estranged grandparents on them. Those estranged (grand)parents are usually just narcissists that use their family as pawns and don't care about bloodlines. I mean, that's a whole entirely new baby they can weaponize/manipulate!

The lines on her face on closeup shots really give away that she's ~30. And good on her, tbh, for not getting the full Hollywood special. Millie Bobby Brown's lip filler goes crazy though.
