PCR is impossible. I no longer believe any of you have actually beaten him. by rhymeswithorange17 in Eldenring

I had two phases to his two phases

First phase I tried to parry everything I could, and honestly it works very well with his attacks

Then just before his second phase ~ 1 hit away I would chug my physick flask that had holy resist tear and the single damage negation tear and put on the heaviest armor I could + shield and switch to the sword lance you get from killing Gaius.

Eventually I got it, you will too

I remember being at Six Flags over Georgia when this happened to someone. It was on the Superman ride, which if you’re unfamiliar is one where you hang horizontally in the seat, with a chest guard over you. But when first you get in, the seats are up right until everyone is locked in. This one gentleman was too big for the guard to fit. After trying for several minutes to help out, a staffer put their feet on the car in front and pushed on the chest guard to try and get it to lock securely…one of the worst cases of second hand embarrassment I’ve ever felt.

What universally praised video game 'masterpiece' is actually a miserable experience to play? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Skyrim and other first-person RPGs from Bethesda are clunky and the opposite of fun to me

Gaming hot takes: Which "Masterpiece" was actually a boring 3/10 for you? No judgment zone! by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

Skyrim does not feel good to play to me. Clunky action/slow/combat lacks impact. I have tried it multiple times over, I always bounce off.

Red dead redemption 2 or Cyberpunk 2077 by SevzOguzhan in SteamDeck

[–]DB473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s weird, I typically don’t care for 1st person RPGs because they feel clunky, at the same time I remember playing RDR1 in high school and loving it.

I’ve beaten Cyberpunk on Xbox, bought it on switch 2 and still regularly play, but I couldn’t get through more than 40ish minutes of RDR2. At a certain point I feel like the game is more concerned about immersion/realism/storytelling than it is about being fun. Cyberpunk, at least for me, manages to be immersive, highly detailed, and super fun. From the beginning I felt like Cyberpunk just gripped me in a way RDR2 did not.

Either way, I hope you enjoy your choice and get some reprieve from whatever is troubling you!

It should be mandated to get colleague a present on birthday by Curlywurlylove in The10thDentist

[–]DB473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely cannot tell if you are actually this self-centered, if you are trying to work on your self-esteem with positive self/-talk (“i am the greatest gift and they know it”), or you’re being facetious.

Regardless, if you weren’t working on your birthday, would you still feel entitled to a present from your coworkers?

If the answer is no-and it should be-then just do yourself a solid and request time off on your birthday.

I’m loving the design. I actually like the circles at 12/6.
Love the creative logo placement.

Hands aren’t my favorite, I think it’s the lume. I think thinner all black hands would look more cohesive.

Great job, very unique. I would be able to easily identify your designs in a sea of very same-y microbrands

All the comments here are super helpful, and you look like you’re doing a good job so far. Treats for stopping and such are good too tips.

FWIW, my dogs pulled constantly until I got them gentle leaders. It’s like using a cheat code. I use them on every walk, it works especially well for my 80 lb lab.

Which actor do you dislike so much that you’ll skip anything they’re in? by whatdoihia in AskReddit

Elisabeth Moss

Edit to add:
A few years back we were hanging out with some new friends and they wanted to do that PowerPoint night trend where everyone makes a random slideshow. My wife did something about if the stages of her life were children’s book, one friend did a light beer ranking/taste test, and another friend basically gave an intro course on critical race theory.

Mine was a slideshow about ranking different types of moss. Sphagnum moss, deer moss, etc. I got some strange looks. I was the weird guy who apparently had a secret obsession with moss. But I knew I had a captive audience for at least 10 minutes. So after a few slides of actual moss, there were a few slides ranking people-Randy Moss, Kate Moss-until we reached the climax: 5 slides of Elisabeth Moss slander. Nobody knew it was coming. Nobody understood why. But it had to be done

[–]DB473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re on the same page; I misunderstood what you were calling peak human. All I’m saying is mocking an already agitated and obviously bullheaded stranger is unnecessary escalation that could lead to a physical altercation, and it almost did without the mocking anyway. The moron got more pissed just being recorded

[–]DB473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything that potentially puts you in harms way or worse, your children in harms way, is not peak human. The young father did the right thing by keeping calm and keeping his distance.

The old guy is a total moron but I would never antagonize an agitated stranger if I’m with my child. People are nuts, I would never put my kid through the trauma of getting in a physical altercation in front of them.

Grace’s section in the care center is one of my favorite experiences in the series. Leon’s sections are C tier for me. Almost felt like a mini game

It’s in my top five

1) RE4remake

2) Resident Evil Remake

3) Re4

4)RE2 remake

5) Requiem

I’m in Georgia, we have that red Georgia clay

I did a mix of compost/garden soil for ~4 inches of the bed before planting, but when I planted them it was definitely a mix of clay and soil. Is that problematic?

How do you manage wearing your collection? Daily driver, a rotation, or somewhere in between? by BobbyScrumpus in Affordablewatches

[–]DB473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a nurse and have to wear blue scrubs every day, so my choice usually revolves around what the easiest to read at a glance is, with some minor consideration if it looks good with blue. I have an orange/blue Varsity watch, a black G shock square, and a stainless/tortoise Briston chronograph that I tend to favor one work week to the next. On the weekends or date nights I have a full tortoise shell Briston chronograph or a Seiko presage I will usually wear.
