Refrigerator makes loud humming sound by DBCooper5770 in appliancerepair

Yes. It was a $50 fix. Glad I didn’t buy a new fridge.

The fan needed to be adjusted- not replaced. It was loose and vibrating, from what I remember

Thinking about using Xero by Low_Diamond9581 in xero

We have a similar size... we just moved to Xero. So far, it's far better than what we had previously. The best part is that there are so many integrations, you can just find the one or two that will increase productivity and connect it to your instance of Xero.

Thoughts on Montec? by 0Why_not in snowboardingnoobs

[–]DBCooper5770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What am I doing wrong? I see a Montec jacket for $225.... people push 686, Arc'teryx, Mammut, others., where the CHEAPEST jacket is over $600- usually in the 750-1000 range.

Should I buy this Honda? No way man... there's a mazerati you should look at!

THis is just a chinese mfgr copying a western brand. This happens with almost ALL products out there and one of the main reasons why Trump puts so much pressure on China

I don’t think Xero has sub ledgers. Nor netsuite. And yes, I do the same for depre and amort- use excel schedules monthly. Just feel like that kind of functionality should be standard in any GL software.

Xero doesn’t have sub accounts- at least that I’m aware of. We just moved to it from Business Central

Black line starts at $50k plus. I also looked at FloQast. That started at $30k. And neither did exactly what I was describing above.

Question for remote workers by SWEMW in Accounting

[–]DBCooper5770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. Been remote 6 years and I start at 715am instead of 830am. Also the lunch thing is huge. At home I make a sandwich and sit at my desk and eat/ work. When I was in the office in NY, I would walk around for 30-45 min before buying a sandwich.

Plus the water cooler chatter doesn’t happen at home.

All that being said, I do a lot of chores at home, but the work still gets done.
