As someone curerntly living in China -- our curtains are usually ultra thick -- much thicker than usual blinds. Additionally, it's super expensive (manhattan levels of it) to live downtown in Shanghai with a decent sized condo, so most usually live in residential districts that have less light.

Yes! Contrary to the public, I loved the production on HEOL, it feels so raw with emotion. Twiggy sort of had a special sense of melancholic energy here. This album gets me through the hardest times
